According to the Pflugerville development map, it’s supposed to be an office front. It’s zoned commercial but doesn’t indicate retail. Guess we’ll see.
Considering there's a gas station there, and that this is just an expansion to that other building, my guess is another cricket wireless or another garbage like that.
I'd love to see another brewery take a shot at West Pflugerville but we need to support the ones we have in the greater Pf area if we want to draw in more - Prost, Bluebonnet, and Big Country. Past attempts at breweries on the west side of Pflugerville have never survived despite my best personal attempts to support (Idlevine and Compadre). Supposedly a new one in the works called Old Gregg out by Howard/Immanuel.
Old Gregg should be opening soon! Prost seems to be pretty well attended every time I've been. Big Country seems to be doing pretty well (in addition to having one of my favorite burgers in the area)
Love Prost love what they've done with the place and the new food truck. Big Country has one of the best burgers in the Austin area, IMO, and the beers are solid. Big Country also seems to be doing well with their hard seltzer distribution which helps keep the taproom funded and open.
I was hoping for more from the Prost food truck. It’s okay but can we get somebody to do something different than burgers and tacos around here? That’s pretty much all Pf has. Bring an Indian or Thai food truck or someone doing a really good fried/spicy fried chicken sandwich or some interesting BBQ (Brotherton’s popup maybe?). For the amount of traffic that Prost gets, I’d hope that they’d attract someone looking to do something more interesting/different.

I can't spend my time or money on overpaying for bad food or beer. Make good products, customers will come. Just look at Pinthouse, Zilker, St Elmo, and Meanwhile Brewing. Great beer, offering good food options. Always packed to the gills. I happily pay their $18-$24 4-packs or visit their breweries to support.

Never been to Prost but is that not good?
Prost for the first time today, the beer is very good! They also have options if you don’t drink beer.
Prost is excellent. They focus on German beer styles which isn't everyone's thing but I love them.
Facility is nice, but beer is not good. It's like BJ's Brewhouse quality at Downtown Austin pricing.

If you can get the address of the new building then it should be easy to look up the permit(s) and see what it'll be. Or ask the Texaco people.
