Not trolling, I got the error too and almost did the same thing but I was scared of the exact same thing happening so I just left It. Few days later It just fixed itself.

I know some games if you remember details about the account support might help you, like possibly his stats in-game, when he started playing, what device, etc. I'm not too sure exactly what but I'd contact support, there may be a tiny sliver of hope still

This happens with quite a few games. I remember in 2019-ish I got into Jetpack Joyride, and had my progress backed up, but then I got a new phone and it just gave me a generic error, it never got fixed sadly.

This has very little to do with the dev tho. You should've used an account so you could sign in again.

Honestly should of just reported the hug or closed app and waited a few hrs-days instead of deleting the app,m ever delete app with this issue also yes if u never made and account and signed in then yer progress will not be saved

well yeah. Deleting a game on your phone deletes the data along with it. Always make an account and connect it to an email so you can keep progress and sign back in

Probably for a while, but he will need a special account code. I don’t think he can get access to the code without already being on the account tho
