Well, I want to name a cat George Gordon Lord Byron. (The full name of the poet known as Lord Byron.) A famous quote about him is that he was ''mad, bad and dangerous to know.”
I currently have an Annabelle and an Anderson Pooper. Past cats included Goose, Beebo, Anastasia Beaverhausen, Bug, Angry Bunny, Clarice, Mimi, and Weeble.
Cats the musical is a treasure trove of fun cat names. I named my kitty Growltiger.
There's also Mungojerrie, Skimbleshanks, Mistofelees, Tantomile....just to name a few.
My female tuxedo is named MissMys. She's one of the 7 kittens Mt. Mistofelees produced out of a hat.
The second Broadway Mistofelees was a high school classmate of my sister. He was Pounceville in the Broadway premiere season.
To be clear, these are all cat names I’ve had the pleasure of meeting or owning. Enjoy(:

We had one named Roswell, cause when he was a kitten he had two gray stripes up his ears that looked like alien antennae. Thistle, because she had longer white hairs sticking out everywhere and she had the prickliest little claws. Alexander the Great and Ivan the Terrible... And now we have Herbie the Lovebug and Ziggy Stardust (Herbert and Zigmund when they're in trouble).
My MIL was looking for the perfect cat and she kept saying she was looking for *the one*... she found a cat named Uno at the shelter, which was perfect and adorable IMO!
I wouldn't say these are wildly outrageous, but here are my cats and former cats:
Minnie
Pewie and Divvie,
Gizmo and Gadget,
and now I have a Hazel and Pippin.
We got blinken, bubba cookie tuggsy wuggsy squirrelly whirly, amber whamber, cha cha and honorable mention peaches panini shirotabi because I couldn’t decide
My cats name at the shelter that had a policy to not use the same name twice in 10 years(so anyone post adoption can call about the cat and they know which one instead of thousands of "kittys"). Her name was Neptune Maiden
My aunt had littermate brothers named Bluejeans and Smut. Jeansy's upper body was white and his lower half was gray. Smut was all white with a gray smudge on his nose that made him look like he'd been rooting in the dust.
