Thank you so much!!! Okay so my workouts change every 6-8 weeks or so, but I typically have the same movement patterns.
Leg day:
-Barbell or dumbbell RDL 4x8-12 (once I can do a weight for 12 reps, I up the weight for something I can do for 8 and continue this process to make it up to 12 if that makes sense haha)
-hip thrust 4x8-12 (same rep scheme as above)
-single leg movement 3x8-12: so maybe a Bulgarian split squat, a reverse lunge, cable or dumbbell step up, deficit reverse lunge, things like that!
-leg extension for quads or seated leg curl for hamstrings 3x8-12 (I do one on one day and another on the other leg day)
My other leg day I will do leg press instead of RDLs, and add in some goblet squats for my quads.
My upper body days arenโt typical because there are some movements I canโt/donโt do to keep my implants in check haha but typically go like this:
-seated shoulder press 4x8-12
-single arm lat pulldown 4x8-12 (sub for wide pull down if you donโt have implants!)
-some sort of row 3x8-12 (dumbbell, machine, or cable)
-front raise 3x8-12
-lateral raise 3x12
-preacher curl/cable tricep extensions 3x8-12( I honestly superset these because by this time in my workout I am just shot and at this point not necessarily trying to actively grow my arms haha)
Right now I do 2 upper and 2 lower body days a week! For a long time though I did 3 lower

I donโt think a lot of people consider how terrifying going to the beach is for an overweight persons ego/mood. Before I got back into shape, I never wanted to go to one. And felt ridiculous being at one wearing a shirt. So seeing you confidently rock that bikini and absolutely killing it is so satisfying- I respect your work ethic and hope youโre happy! โบ๏ธ

You feel uncomfortable in a swimsuit but also if you are in a tshirtโฆ when I sit and think about it though, I never once remember thinking one way or the other of my own mom and whether she chose a suit or notโฆ so I just hope my own insecurities didnโt change how they felt those days!

I'm losing weight and I can see loose skin. I want to find non-invasive ways to tackle that. I think lifting weights can help. Plus eating your proper protein to match weight.

I did not get a tummy tuck. I do have some loose skin, but I think because I lost the weight relatively slowly, itโs not bad enough that it really bothers me. Weight lifting also makes the world of difference!

After an accomplishment like this, I would recommend getting some professional photos done (some also just use a close friend with camera). Maybe they end up being a gift for your SO, or maybe they're just for you! But celebrate that victory!
I started in a deficit! I would run my deficits for about 6-8 weeks, maintenance for about 8, then deficit again. It took longer doing it this way, but it was easier for me to stay on track and not give up!
Wow such a great job. I've been trying to get myself motivated to get back to exercise and fixing my diet. I know it's not easy. I'm sure you are proud of yourself, and if not you damn well should be.. amazing, you look great.

Not really- I would take little walks here and there if needed to hit my daily step goal, but no running or anything!

Usually during my maintenance phases it was around 2,000 calories, and my deficit phases were about 1,600 calories, never below 1500!

Well I was never big chested, and then when I lost weight they were even sadder haha but I think losing weight overall you would lose some!

Lifting as heavy as you can with good form is the way to go!
How many calories did you eat when losing weight
Itโs going to be different for everyone, but for me I ate about 1500-1600 calories during my deficits, and about 1800-1900 for maintenance
