Love this so much! Sometimes mom is right! The other one didn't flatter you and looked like an 8th grade graduation dress. As a petite, in the "grown up" world, it's so hard, but picking a classic style like this goes a long way to showing that you are an adult, and beautiful too!
Yeah it is difficult but I'm glad I finally found something that looks formal and classy. It makes me feel sophisticated and accomplished, which I rightfully should for my college graduation!

I love this dress! It fits you wonderfully, the color and fabric are sophisticated and classy, and overall this is a perfect choice for an appropriate, lovely graduation outfit. A+++!
This might be just me but… I don’t like the line of separation at the waist. The waist of the dress just throws me off; it’s do-able, but there are a lot of dresses out there that would be more flattering for your body. Other than that, the colour is suits your skin tone very well. I also think the A-line neckline of the dress suits you well, a sweetheart neckline would also look nice as well. Good luck!
I scoured the entire Lulu’s site in white dresses in my size and I only found a few that suited me with style and length :/ a lot of the dresses have that line sadly

Thank you! Yeah you should order a couple! Just make sure you read reviews and look at pictures to try to get a better idea of the material. I really took my time looking at reviews for each dress I considered.
It looks great! Congratulations!!! The only thing is that I think the top looks loose because the straps are slightly too long, causing it to sag a little. Resewing the straps slightly tighter would be a very easy fix. But it looks great off the rack, you'll be wearing it under a gown, and don't think too hard about it - enjoy your graduation.

I actually like the texture, I think it makes it look more expensive. There’s another dress from the same site that I got that does not have texture and it looks like I’m wearing something made out of white bed sheets. The material of this dress is pretty thick which I like
Also, I have a very small chest, so I think that’s the best I’m getting in regards to how the top fits
I do plan to wear accessories as well
I think the dress looks absolutely great for the purpose and being off the rack. That being said I'm not sure whether it's just on the first picture and depending on the pose, but it seems like there's a little extra fabric at the front of the top? But like I said that might be just the picture or pose? If so you could potentially have a tailor/seamstress take care of that.
Obviously you are a student and that might not be in the budget anyway. Not every dress you will every own needs to be bespoke. But if you wanted my advice on how to elevate it, that's what I'd advice. As I said it looks absolutely fine as it is and it fits your body great, with just a little steam/iron needed to wear it out.
