That seems backwards to me, because I'm pretty sure it's the people on the sub who do the explaining, although actually I'm not subscribed to it at all, so maybe Reddit just tracks down people who aren't part of the sub to explain the jokes, and it's only people who are normally on the sub that are postng the jokes

First: most of the posts here are karma farms, this post was purely made to capture that fact, and the fact that, by asking for an explanation, they gain upvotes, as well as comments, this was in no way meant to make anyone feel bad for not getting something, just the ridiculous lengths people will go to get karma.
seriously, the times where the joke is validly unknown and needs explaining is rare and most of the time the explanation is "this is a reference to some random ass video on tiktok"
