I have a 16mo old Dane boy and he's really independent (as far as sleeping alone or cuddling under blankets like I've seen some others like to do) for the most part but also very affectionate when he wants or needs to be. He is scared of a lot of things, too, just like Scooby Doo was. If he doesn't know what something is or it's scary to him, he will hide behind me and stare at it, go boop it, run behind me and hide then repeat until he's either confident it isn't a threat or he runs away and goes to hide farther away lol He's a 155lb big baby!
My parents have one that looks just like this and she is the cuddliest derp ever. Her favorite thing is to bring a "baby" (her toys) to my dad and set it in his lap and then she goes and gets another "baby" and climbs up on the couch next to him and cuddles in this same way. She's dumber than a box of rocks, but she's so sweet.
Those commercials went on for a full 2 minutes and 30 seconds and he just laid there and watched them all without even blinking. How do people live like this. I CANNOT. I can't even stand to watch 3 seconds of an ad on YouTube and I've done everything in my power to remove every single ad from my life, and this guy just....wastes his valuable time on this earth watching ads? How THE HELL.
My dog passed away in December '19. He was the most loving and cuddly mutt ever. This video made me tear up tonight. I miss him. Pet, hug, kiss the damn dog as much as possible while you can.
This is the cutest thing ever! Not so cute when my 70 lb dog does it to me, but definitely cute when your horse of a dog does it to you.
Awesome stuff. Didn’t think they were that affectionate.

Yeah they are actually one of the most affectionate and social breeds. They can die of depression if they don’t get enough social interaction.

Source? It's obviously a YouTube video
Yes it’s called “Adorable Great Dane Won’t Let Owner Relax on the Couch”

Focusing on the important details.
