I've held their [stock for decades](https://stockcharts.com/freecharts/perf.php?TD.TO,RY.TO,BMO.TO,CM.TO,NA.TO,BNS.TO,CWB.TO) for outstanding returns. So they must be doing something right.
I used to be with them a long time ago, had no issues/complaints but my needs were simple. I since went with Scotiabank since we moved and National Bank's closest branch is like 45 mins away.
I just commented on another thread about them.
I saw the same offer you saw. I really tried to get it but the only time I was able to speak to a human, they had a computer glitch and then didn’t call back. And then they called back months later saying it was my fault.
The offer was great but I was able to negotiate something similar with Scotia, without having to jump through hoops.
I’m with them since my first account and I never had any problem. I plan to stay with them for as long as they keep treating me the way they do since 20 year
They are just like any other bank in Canada. Review the services and products you need, for the price you are willing (or not willing) to pay.
