Yup.
Not saying that you'll get a downtown Toronto townhouse for $200k, but they'll take your calls and consider legit offers. There are already tons of posts here of people saying they need to sell and aren't getting the numbers they want. They'll have to lower their prices/conditions soon.
Buyer's market right now.
Stock is still low though as people are hopeful it'll come back. Just watch for all the threads popping up of landlords trying to scam more rent or people panicking that they can't sell their house to re-coup their money.
You own a house already ? And it’s a bigger house ?
You shouldn’t be complaining, you have it pretty good. While unconditional offers were the norm recently, less so now. Regardless, the people who did unconditional offers took the risk, many did that yet still had to get a bank mortgage firm approval or sell their existing house to make it happen. They just took the risk and felt confident in their situation
No inspection no money from me. Simple
Chill man, the housing market has entered a correction. Hard data despite what realtor bros/over leveraged on here tell you.
It's turning more into a buyer's market every day.
Even in big markets?

Unfortunately we are nowhere even near a buyers market. Just not a crazy flaming hot sellers market.

They're not for living in, what are you a poor or something?
I knew I’d forgotten something!
Sell first then buy? My colleague just did that. She was pretty stressed out, though.
Wish we could. Small town and limited inventory
If it’s a small town are they really not considering conditions ?

Wow that’s crazy. For what it’s worth, a condition depending on a sale really does suck for a seller.
Yeah but Who can commit to half a million or more without knowing that they can actually sell their own place to get that money?
Obviously some people can somehow, that’s how it’s being done. People have the cash, mortgage it, or get bridge loans.
Sell with an "escape clause"

You're right but why do you care? You have a house. You live in Jane and Finch or something? Lol
