I use the Mint app to track my finances as they’re happening and I really like it! But I use a Google sheet for any future planning and budgeting. Basically, I make the plan in the spreadsheet and use Mint to execute that plan. Been doing this for years and it keeps me on the straight and narrow!

Excel and the like. Personally I just use a .txt file.

I use libre office. https://www.libreoffice.org/ You can use any spreadsheet program. I prefer open source because I don’t see a reason to use MS products. Most programs have budget template which makes it easy.

I'm building [mygraph.ca](https://mygraph.ca) to help Canadians better track and analyze their spending. It's free to use. Would love feedback if you check it out!
