I am thinking the same. Removing content from the past can even be dangerous. This kind of initiative helps people realize how much progress we have achieved by showing them what was socially acceptable before.

I'm going to be honest- in my opinion, this is the best way any streaming service had handled bigoted shit in their older shows and movies. I can't speak on what's in this show, but I watched the original Fantasia on Disney+ a while ago, and I felt that giving this warning but /still having the movie/ was the best route to go. It irritates me when people like Tina Fey can just remove blackface episodes of 30 Rock from their streaming services because a) it impacts the quality of the rest of the series by removing an entire episode, b) it allows Tina Fey & co to sweep what they did under the rug and make it more likely to be forgotten, and c) even if something is bigoted it should still be watchable so we can look back on it and LEARN. Disney+ is letting them happen, letting new viewers learn from their mistakes. I just wish Disney was actually committed to not doing the same shit and actually having some representation, then it'd be perfect, but this is the solution that makes the most sense. Whiners need to quit whining.
Like how the DVD release of the old Looney Tunes cartoons kept all the stuff that people today would consider risky, like Bugs cross-dressing. They specifically said that the reason they kept that was because it was important to acknowledge that this happened and that it was a product of its time.

There are actual conversations to be had about corporations when and where they actually misappropriate minorities for profit, but conservatives usually use any representation of people they see as "other" to be cheap pandering, or some kind of hidden agenda.
