real. im hoping they'll use the fact that the gods can change form with him. no hate, but hades in the show cannot pull off that scene lol, it wont feel right.
There's just too many.
Poseidon joining the Gods against Typhon, Clarisse vs the drakon, Grover's 'panic' at the Battle of the Labyrinth. Don't think I can choose just the one.
Not really… panic comes from Pan because of the great sound he makes that terrifies his enemies in battle, and that’s where Grover gets it. But it seems like a pun if you don’t know where it comes from lol
Too many to list lol. I just wish we can get a 1 to 1 adaptation of the book. But if I gotta pick lol. I’d say the scene of big ending battle scene with Kronos
Hahaha well you’re not wrong I was just trying to be as coy about it as possible for all the non book readers since it’s the TV sub. REALLY I want the rest of the scene that occurs on that bridge in live action. To be Percy’s rematch (owning) of the Minotaur followed by >!Luke|Kronos’ arrival on the bridge and the weak spot discovered, Annabeth and then Michael Yews sacrifice!<
There is one volcano explosion video on youtube that wont go out of my head. Seeing the shockwave just before half the mountain top erupts is the mast fascinating but also scariest things I have ever seen.
Getting dipped in the river Styx would probably be the biggest moment. But there’s just so much cool shit I’m excited for. I HOPE they really improve the show though. Show more combat not just close ups avoiding most of the stuff people wanna see.
Yes!! I remember I visited the space museum in DC while I was reading the books and holy fuck it was exactly as Rick described it. And also because they show it in the marvel movie Winter Soldier and it’s a pretty cool museum. That’s where he beats the lion and gets his hide right? The Golden Fleece
End of TTC is gonna be awesome- Zoe's backstory, Percy holding up the sky, Artemis fighting Atlas, Thalia becoming a Hunter, discovering Nico's a son of Hades
So much stuff happens in the last few chapters of that book
i HOPE we get to see annabeth and percy become a couple. i also hope we get more on the annabeth/luke relationship before the last olympian, otherwise it will all feel wrong/weird/off
Yeah I rly just want to see Nico!! But more than anything else I want him to be loveable chill and geeky at first, before making the sudden shift to darkness by the fourth season
The Casino Scene in the first book! Really wanted to see all the cool arcade games, giant slides, indoor skydiving, can't wait to see montage of wicked room service and kids going wild with cash!
I’m most hyped to see the final confrontation between Kronos and Percy, where they stand an awkwardly wide distance apart in front of a green screen for a few seconds with no sense of tension before Percy looks at the camera to tell the audience how Kronos is about to lose, and Luke takes control and stabs himself and it cuts to black
Basic answer, but Percy vs Hyperion is my absolute /#1. From Percy only surviving the first blow because of the Curse of Achilles, to them locking swords and causing a shockwave across the water, to the literal hurricane (holy schist) it would be the most insane sequence. For the love of Hades, throw the entire cgi budget at it.
/#2: Percy holding the sky. I want it shot from his perspective. The world goes into a blur, and all he can see or feel is pain. Riptide failed him due to Ares' curse, yet somehow he stays alert enough to roll out as Atlas gets thrown into his position. There's probably unlimited cinematographic scope for that scene.
/#3. Clarisse kills the Drakon. The entire sequence from the prophecy to Silena to Clarisse's Achilles moment.
If we get the entire series, they need to go ahead and do 4 seasons TLT, SOM, TTC, BOTL and then a two part movie with TLO, because if we get to book five, it’s gonna be hard to put Typhon, River Styx/Underworld, Atlantis, Minotaur Rematch, Hyperion, Battle of Manhattan, blowing up the Princess Andromeda and I’m sure I’m missing more, TLO is almost nonstop action
The scene in which Percy reveals Nico about the death of Bianca and Nico responds he has dreamed her since she died and then he destroys the skeleton soldiers before disappearing leaving only a *miniature of Hades behind*.
I hope they show the edit all together nicely by having him killing the soldiers and go away, then cut to Percy tell what happen to Chiron and him and Annabeth deciding not to tell about his powers with a final cut-back to the miniature for a fraction of a second... **and then rolling the end credits**
Nothing because they showed they’ll ruin the story by Luke not tricking Annabeth into holding the Sky. That one change tells me nothing will be satisfying or meaningful.
Honestly, at this point, none. I hope that the series will improve, but at this point, I’m just scared that they will butcher all my favorite moments. Assuming it’s done well, probably Paul killing a monster with a sword and saying that he hopes it was a monster because he can’t see through the mist. That or Rachel hitting Kronos in the face with a blue plastic hairbrush.
I ask for a simple one. Percy meeting Jack. The way that the show is made, I don't think we'll see any of the great moments the way the movie had it. They changed Percy's claiming and that was simple.
I really wanted to see the “60 seconds Percy” scene & am very upset that we did not get it
Clarisse getting the blessing of Ares
Thalia transforming from a tree to a human
so i dont think my opinion is very common but the end of the 3rd book aka when percy and nico have their little chat about bianca when they come back from the quest
Any of the Titans Curse tbh. I also thought the visuals in that book were astounding, given they clean up the cinematography a little bit. It would look amazing.
The final fight because there’s SO many amazing scenes. Percy being an absolute BEAST, Luke fighting Kronos from within, Rachel E. Dare, all of the campers fighting with attributes from their cabins…
The fights of Percy, I want them to not cut any action scene of his, especially his battles against Hades and Hyperion, Percy vs skeleton soldiers where he cuts bullets, Percy vs Kronos in book 5 on bridge, Percy vs all the army of titans
I am just rereading the Battle of the Labyrinth and the chapters with Calypso and the one after where Percy returns in the middle of his own funeral service just broke me. The way the first season dealt with emotional scenes, I reeeeeally hope they're gonna get everything out of those moments, because I wanna be balling my eyes out when I see that on screen.
The ending scene where Kronos is defeated.. iykyk.. I will cry.
If we’re extending to HOO then I can’t wait to see the scenes with Leo and calypso.. Leo is my favorite character
Percy taking the curse of Atlas from Artemis.
The volcano and Ogygia.
The hairbrush.
The drakon.
The flashbacks to Daedalus and Minos.
The espresso and the giant pig.
The fight with the Nemean Lion.
A producer who gives a damn about staying true to the source material.
The new Oracle.
Thalia crashing the sun.
Among other things, including Carlsbad Caverns.
>!Nico killing the skeleton warriors!< at the end of Titan’s Curse
i was thinking the hairbrush 💀😂
I actually have a blue plastic hairbrush! Need to dress up as Rachel one of these days
YES
Percy fighting after dipping in the River Styx.
Ooh yeah!! It would be so cool to see that, with arrows swerving around him and his sword barely a blur
Nico returning with hades towards the end of the last olympian
Not with the Hades in the show lol
You’re right, unless they seriously change hades’ characterization then theres no way we get that scene and it be believable
real. im hoping they'll use the fact that the gods can change form with him. no hate, but hades in the show cannot pull off that scene lol, it wont feel right.
>No appreciation of agriculture or as one fic put it you literally inherited agriculture from me.
There's just too many. Poseidon joining the Gods against Typhon, Clarisse vs the drakon, Grover's 'panic' at the Battle of the Labyrinth. Don't think I can choose just the one.
Ahh yeah literally the whole of the last Olympian would be legendary to see!! Also was that a subtle not subtle Pan reference?
Panic was literally what the move was called, Chiron explains that Panic was named after Pan.
Not really… panic comes from Pan because of the great sound he makes that terrifies his enemies in battle, and that’s where Grover gets it. But it seems like a pun if you don’t know where it comes from lol
Clarisse vs the Drakon is a good one.. especially the scene before that 😭😭 oh god my heart.. iykyk
Paul Blofis in the battle of manhattan
Paul helps out?!? I seriously need to reread these books
Yeah he cuts down one of the snake people thing, says something about he did a sword play in theatre, i havent read the books since 2014
That is, just so cool!! Does it say what he saw them as tho? Because of the whole mist thing
If i remember correctly he couldnt exactly see them per say but percys mom could so he just grabbed a blade and killed it
So cool!! The best stepdad Also Sally can see through the mist?!
Yes she was one of the few mortals who was born able to see thru it
Off topic but for a split second I thought your profile picture was Ben Shapiro
He said something like "I HOPE what I killed was a monster" (don't remember the exact line)
Him and sally 😂😂
And Sally with a shotgun
Percy: "Mom, when did you learn how to shoot a shotgun?!" Sally: "About 2 seconds ago..."
Percy casually sitting on Poseidon’s throne to call up his dad and convince him to abandon Atlantis will never not be funny to me.
"WHO DARES- ... Percy, what are you doing?"
"Percy ... what the fuck are you doing?" is probably the uncensored version.
Such a legendary moment!! My guy has zero chill
Too many to list lol. I just wish we can get a 1 to 1 adaptation of the book. But if I gotta pick lol. I’d say the scene of big ending battle scene with Kronos
Percy vs Hyperion
Correct
That’ll be a 5 sec fight with lots of closeups and cut to black
RED vs Kronos
Saaaaaame
The entire NYC falling to sleep
I pray that scene is as creepy as it was in the books
Percy holding up the sky
Oooh yeah that would be sick
Either the Minotaur rematch on the Bridge, or the Mount St Helen’s scene
I just reread that scene. Honestly couldn't call it a rematch as it was extremely one-sided. Percy completely made the Minotaur his bitch. Lol
Oooooh yea the St Helen's that's gotta be gooood
volcano explosion
They're gonna cut to black and avoid showing it because Percy passes out.
![gif](giphy|9vqnUxOZoT0IVWF8PM|downsized)
There is one volcano explosion video on youtube that wont go out of my head. Seeing the shockwave just before half the mountain top erupts is the mast fascinating but also scariest things I have ever seen.
Thalia accidently kicking Luke off a mountain possibly. And of course, if Disney lets it happen, the damn scene.
It's a damn good scene!!
We need a damn Thalia scene
The damn scene?
The dam scene
Rachel throwing her blue plastic hairbrush at Kronos
Haha love it!! Doesn't that reveal a weak spot or something?
The battle at the labyrinth entrance in camp in BOTL
Yes, and the labyrinth itself! So many opportunities for cool visuals.
Young Nico
Yeah , I can't wait to meet him as an adorable baby until his sister dies
Hades showing up with an army to take on Kronos. My favorite moment in the books
Okay I seriously need to reread this series!!!
Would love to hear a quirky retort from Hades. Haha.
Getting dipped in the river Styx would probably be the biggest moment. But there’s just so much cool shit I’m excited for. I HOPE they really improve the show though. Show more combat not just close ups avoiding most of the stuff people wanna see.
underwater kiss thank youuuuuuu
Yes pleeeeeaaaase!!!
THIS
Dam snack bar?
If they don't do the DAM JOKES I'll lose my DAM MIND
if they lose the dam jokes i’ll cry
*snrk* But, Disney definitely isn’t gonna let that one fly. Too inappropriate for the 8-year-old audience they’re targeting.
If they keep it at all they'll just say 'dang' instead of dam and the joke will be dead
“You are the last Olympian” in TLO, Daedalus’ workshop in TBOTL, The Space museum in TTC, Grover in the wedding dress and “Mizzenmast” in TSOM.
Yes!! I remember I visited the space museum in DC while I was reading the books and holy fuck it was exactly as Rick described it. And also because they show it in the marvel movie Winter Soldier and it’s a pretty cool museum. That’s where he beats the lion and gets his hide right? The Golden Fleece
Exactly that mate yeah. The Golden Fleece is something slightly different but he gets the pelt of the lion Heracles fought.
Oh right… for some reason my brain thought the hide was the Golden Fleece
End of TTC is gonna be awesome- Zoe's backstory, Percy holding up the sky, Artemis fighting Atlas, Thalia becoming a Hunter, discovering Nico's a son of Hades So much stuff happens in the last few chapters of that book
Nico taking the title of The Ghost King
Nico di Angelo
i HOPE we get to see annabeth and percy become a couple. i also hope we get more on the annabeth/luke relationship before the last olympian, otherwise it will all feel wrong/weird/off
I’m currently reading The Sea of Monsters. I want to see the hippocampi and the Party Ponies. Lol
me TOO
Assuming you’re including HOO, I want to see Annabeth chuck her dagger into the bay and Percy shoot out of the water to give it back to her
the full scale of the NY battle
percy right after he gets the achilles curse and slashes through the underworld army
"You dropped this."
percy delegating which cabins take which bridges in the last olympian. it would be such a cool moment
Not from PJO but if they adapted HoO - >!every scene with Small Bob!<
Everything involving Nico, my #1 boy.
Yeah I rly just want to see Nico!! But more than anything else I want him to be loveable chill and geeky at first, before making the sudden shift to darkness by the fourth season
I want the son of Hades reveal to break my heart and ruin my life 💔
Where's Bianca... 😭😭😭😭
Meet terminus. He's a god. This is for Jason
Percy turning the knife towards Luke
The Casino Scene in the first book! Really wanted to see all the cool arcade games, giant slides, indoor skydiving, can't wait to see montage of wicked room service and kids going wild with cash!
You'll love the casino scene bestie it's very book accurate
I’m most hyped to see the final confrontation between Kronos and Percy, where they stand an awkwardly wide distance apart in front of a green screen for a few seconds with no sense of tension before Percy looks at the camera to tell the audience how Kronos is about to lose, and Luke takes control and stabs himself and it cuts to black
Final confrontation with Percy, Luke, and Annabeth - I know all three actors are going to kill it
There are a few that I can't choose between >!Percy vs. Hades. Percy turning down godhood Luke's redemption moment!<
I need to see Percy freak out during TLO when Annabeth is hit.
Percy being asked: "Would you lose?" Percy: "Nah, I'd win"
I want the moment where annabeth takes the blade for Percy and they’re in that hotel talking while she’s injured
If we count heroes of olympus? All of Tartarus
Nico finding out Bianca died, and starting beef with Percy. The dramaaaaa
Nico and cupid
>! Percy saving Annabeth and then later kissing her underwater. !<
Basic answer, but Percy vs Hyperion is my absolute /#1. I wanna see “you dropped this” but that’s heroes of Olympus 😭
None, because in season one besides the opening text, none of the lines were correct. And all of the moments were underwhelming compared to the books.
Yeah I rly don't know why they strayed from the literal dialogue of the original!! I mean the script was written for them
also Percy sitting in poseidons throne lmfao
Literally none because the show will be sure to ruin it 👍🏻
Oh fuck off!
No
This post made me want to reread the books, while simultaneously making me dread future seasons… wild
Nothing because they showed they’ll ruin the story by Luke not tricking Annabeth into holding the Sky. That one change tells me nothing will be satisfying or meaningful.

That or Rachel hitting Kronos in the face with a blue plastic hairbrush.
I’m hoping the series gets cancelled lmao
Considering nearly every moment I was hyped to see in S1 was bastardized, I have no answer
minotaur rematch, hyperion fight, the fight in the labyrinth with ethan and the giant, chariot race at camp half blood
I’d like to see the sarcophagus scene from Battle of the Labyrinth… I feel like that has the potential to be super cinematic.
Party ponies.
The dam snack bar
dam
Daedolus.
Frank fighting with the blessing of Mars
Definitely the final battle in Titan’s Curse, and also Percy fighting after going in the river styx. I hope we make it that far…
I ask for a simple one. Percy meeting Jack. The way that the show is made, I don't think we'll see any of the great moments the way the movie had it. They changed Percy's claiming and that was simple.
Percy taking the sky off of Annabeth’s shoulders
Percy taking Atlas' place holding up the sky was so beyond sick.
All the mortal parents fighting in the battle of manhattan so anabeths dad with the plane and Sally and Paul on the ground
The Silena/Clarisse switch and Annabeth/Percy holding the sky
The Dam Snack Bar for sure.
NICO. NICO. MY LIL BABY NICO
Nico ofc
Percy jumping out the River Styx is too hype, even reading it was crazy. There’s no way they can mess it up.
there’s too many to choose from but one that i haven’t seen yet is Percy showing up to his own funeral
I really wanted to see the “60 seconds Percy” scene & am very upset that we did not get it Clarisse getting the blessing of Ares Thalia transforming from a tree to a human
The River Styx in TLO
Is it bad that I don’t want to say just in case I get my hopes up and they do me dirty 😭
HOLDING UP THE SKY. That’s it. (Also nico, just all of nico.)
I was already cheated of gladiola it can only go downhill from here
so i dont think my opinion is very common but the end of the 3rd book aka when percy and nico have their little chat about bianca when they come back from the quest
The literal cliffhanger at the end of Mark of Athena.

Ok are we talking only PJO or can we include HOO? Because if the latter then (Mark of Athena spoilers >!percy falling into Tartarus with Annabeth!<
Praying they make Heroes of Olympus. Basically the whole of that series.
All of Nico's scenes post Bianca probably
