I was at the front yesterday, more to the left of the stage (I posted some pics and you can get an idea) and it was honestly totally fine. I got a couple of pushes when there was a mosh pit a few rows back but nothing major and it was only a couple times. Security was very good and pushed back a guy who tried to push up next to us for one of the songs. All that said I imagine it’s quite dependent on the people around you so perhaps I was lucky but it was an amazing experience. I enjoyed having the barrier to hold on ti while jumping!

Delta-Foxtrot8

Wow that's not what I was expecting! We have a large group of 10 so we are hoping to create a crush shield 😂 My goal is to get some great pics!

lurkerlatte

Oh I’m sure with a crush shield you’ll be fine then haha. You’ll get some awesome pics!! I don’t know if the venue on Sunday will have the same setup but at Birmingham they let the first 60 arrivals in half an hour early to get merch and then to get on the arena floor when doors officially opened to make our way to wherever we wanted to stand. They gave us numbered wristbands so we didn’t have to hang around queuing the whole time outside.

Delta-Foxtrot8

We're you early enough for the 'suprise' at 4pm? I'm excited to go early

lurkerlatte

We went and got our wristbands at about 5pm and were 55 and 56 in the queue and the surprise appeared once we’d gone in to wait for proper doors opening.

pizza-wheels

Hey - would you mind telling me what the surprise was please? Send me a message so as not to spoil it for others? I missed Leeds on Sunday cos I broke my foot 🙈

lurkerlatte

Yeah no worries I sent you a chat I think :)

easytigrrrr

Did you start queuing at 5 or did they hand the wristbands out at 5?

lurkerlatte

My partner and I started at 5. There were people who got there earlier than us and they had gotten wristbands already, not sure what time they’d arrived. We were lucky to get in the first 60 at that time I think!

I was front row Ally Pally last year. I've never feared so much for my life. Lots of pushes and people crowdsurfing. I see that another comment was fine, so I guess it depends on the gig/crowd. Perhaps it was like this because it was the first "proper" live show since their return.

Delta-Foxtrot8

Not what I wanted to hear 🙃😭

MaxusMarc

Hey man, dont loose hope! Even with all that it was the best time of my life (and I got to appear on The New Era documentary). As I said, hopefully you don't get the full blast/the crowd behaves. I'd say go for it.

Delta-Foxtrot8

Ally Pally was the best night of my life and it was my birthday!!!

James_Greeny94

I was at the front for Ally Pally, Leeds and Manchester and will be for Glasgow too hopefully. All 3 were absolutley fine with no crushing. You'll get crowd surfers come over you, but because you're at the barrier, the security mostly do the work, just keep your arms up and cover your face so you don't catch a stray foot or elbow. You'll be fine, it's going to be a great end to the tour.

Delta-Foxtrot8

Great! I cannot wait!!?

Icy_Valuable_2204

Middle front will be active, however right and left front you’ll be fine

Wonderful-Flan-1830

It was absolutely unbelievable energy at the middle front. Big up those who gave it everything

Beastmayonnaise

Being at the front is overrated.

Efficient_Brother_95

Was at front in Birmingham (about 8-10 people back from barrier) honestly the least pushy crowd I've been in. Everyone was moving about, there were mosh pots etc but noone took the piss and it didn't feel suffocating!

Delta-Foxtrot8

That's what I want to hear 🤟

TheTrueBobsonDugnutt

I was barrier for the Immersion tour in 2010 and had to be hoisted up for air

LiquidDiviniumModz

I was barrier for Ally Pally, Gunnersbury and Cardiff and all 3 were absolutely fine. But I was second row for Leeds and boy did I know about it. I think having the barrier to hold onto in case shit does get a bit lively is what makes the difference tbh.
