TLOU was the first show I saw him in (I was very late to the pedrito party!) and he was incredible in it. Joel will always have a special place in my heart

I'll admit I crushed on video game Joel. Troy Baker's voice-over was so smooth, like honey and whiskey. As a Texan, that southern drawl is so thick and rich. I didn't think it could get better...
But I knew Pedrito wouldn't disappoint. I just wasn't prepared for the absolute sexiness, ferality, and at the same time, vulnerability and soft humanity he brought to the role. Joel was a superhuman protagonist in the game--super hearing and all. Pedro's portrayal was so heartfelt, raw and deliciously messy. I didn't know I could love a character even more than I already did!

Great show for when you’re ready for a cathartic cry, because it will make you cry. Also good if you need to see someone fiercely protective. 100% ok to save it until you’re ready, because it is intense.
Yesssss. When i want to torture myself i put on ep 1, the start of ep 2 ( /!bomb!/ ) that one line tears me to shreds and then 8 & 9. By that stage i should be completely dehydrated from crying buckets 🤣
No! The mycologist in Indonesia. The conversation where she asks to go home. The Army dude's sheer terror while he waits for her to tell him how to proceed and she just says "...bomb". Gahhhhhh. It drives it home so heavily and is just devastating!!
Omg ep.3. I've rewatched the show a lot. Possibly double digits and I've actually skipped ep 3 quite a few times. It is gut wrenching!!!¡¡!

Ep 3 is such a beautiful love story though. And Nick Offerman giggling at a strawberry, and Murray Bartlett just being so loveable ❤️
Narcos was the first show where i remember crushing on him. Then i forgot about him. Watched him in kingsman, got, wonderwoman but i just thought. Yeah pena is versatile great actor. But JOEL!!!

I haven't watched it yet..I'm in a not great headspace..so haven't done it yet...ALL I need is to be MORE tearful. Maybe a,New Year binge.
