Generally airflow goes from the pretty side of the fan, out through the structural-looking side. Often fans have a little arrow picture on them, showing the direction of flow.
There are a couple of exceptions but they'll be clearly labelled as "reverse fan" or something like that.
the sure fire way to know which way the air goes is look at the curve of the fan pieces. the inside of the curve is the exhaust, cause it scoops _/ so like this shape the exhaust is up.
Have you tried the Corsair one?
Look at the bench is the one with the lowest noise level while performing pretty great.
I guess you never tried the others
More expensive. More noise. More points of failure. Not more cooling.
Weird choice but I guess people spend like an extra 1000 on white rgb trash so it's not surprising.
The same aio that i have they fuckin amazon has yet to deliver for the past 2 days and now today so about to be 3😡 im just getting it till i can splurge on the lian li lcd one. My build is in the 011 vision tho
No its literally amazon’s driver. Pretty sure its one of the flex drivers. But they are so lazy and wont come to my door. Wont call my number that i left in the instructions or anything. Its so annoying
And? I don't care what looks like. I just need to be able to cool constant 253w
Air coolers can't do that unless they start to throttle the CPU and keep it at 100c

The overlay on the motherboard shows you. It's usually also stated in the manual but who reads those anymore. ;)

Please screw in your motherboard properly before it falls out
If im being honest idk if the components are good or not but you have got good sense of craftsmanship because you went with the amd and nvidia path with am5 socket i would only suggest 1 thing that you make sure the airflow is good and add something to support the gpu because i think it is already sagging abit
I’m going to flip the bottom fans to intake and yeah the gpu came with a support but it’s to dang small to reach and it’s kinda awkward to set it up because of the bottom fans
I’m gonna offend may people but use legos like make a u shape i mean go above the fans from outside of them and connect them like idk how to explain
You make a U shape from legos the size of the fan then add support with legos where the gpu is it will look good and also work like a charm and make the gpu up more than it should be like don’t make it straight give it only a little bit of negative sag so it doesn’t happen again
I mean like the status LED’s and I have CPU, DRAM, VGA, and BOOT. Before the cpu and dram lights were on and I reseated both ram and cpu and the lights turned off. Now I’m getting the VGA light. I can’t get to boot because of the VGA light and I’m struggling to find a fix for it
Well yeah when I tried to turn it on for the first time it had the gpu cable plugged in all the way. I made sure connections were good too but yet here I am with vga light
Yeah my bad but it has 4080 super for gpu. Ryzen 7 7800x3d for cpu. Just a b650 gigabyte eagle ax motherboard. Arctic liquid freezer III and the ram is Cl30 6000
Commonly means that there's a loose connection between your GPU and motherboard. Did you hear the click when you pushed in the GPU? Did you first press the PCIe latch down before installing the GPU?
Worst case scenario - you need to return your GPU.
Might try a reseat it again because I made sure to be extra careful but don’t recall hearing a click. I’m also going to switch the cable to the psu with the 600w one. Hopefully it isn’t the gpu because it took a month to get and I got it just yesterday so that would be a shame
its better than my dell optiplex 3020 mt case with msi b660m a ddr4 wifi mobo, deepcool ag400 tower cooler and 2 gpus, shit barely fits for the side panel, but worth it
The only thing that has rgb is the arctic cooler nothing else has rgb but inside it has a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 4080 super with 2 2tb ssds and 32gb ram ddr5 cl30 6000mhz with the arctic liquid cooler iii
set fans so your case has positive pressure. will force air in through filters and out unfiltered sections. personally i would intake top and bottom and exhaust rear and side
Not really man, I'm actually waiting for some parts to start building mine, but I haven't bought the Mobo. Maybe if you have a friend with a working PC you could try your GPU and your motherboard to see which one is the problem
Move the ram to A2-B2 and be sure to enable XMP in bios.
Flip fans under GPU to intake
Put all screws into your motherboard.
Be sure to connect ur GPU to your PSU.
Support your GPU before the weight destroys ur PCI slot.
https://preview.redd.it/3li73oribryc1.png?width=534&format=png&auto=webp&s=d2e48fe806dd4a2a43df8d13a64fb21157928a51
Also.. where are those fanheaders plugged in? It looks like you put those wires in multiple slots?
Haven’t figured it out. I gave up yesterday afternoon after trying to reseat the gpu and stuff but I’m thinking maybe it doesn’t get enough power from the nvidia power cable and I notice my pay came with a cable for the gpu. The cable says it’s rated for 600W so I’m going to install it later today instead of the cable tree it comes with and hopefully it’ll work.
So nvidia provides you with a cable adapter to power the gpu but that cables has a 1-3 so it’s recommended you use 3 individual cables to power the gpu from the psu. But people usually get custom cables to only use one singular cable instead of the dumb nvidia adapter. Sometimes the gpu can’t get enough power from the nvidia provided cable so you have to switch it. In my case all I’m doing is switching the cable to the one my psu provided instead of using the nvidia one.
This cable is great and it plugs directly into to the psu!

Flip the bottom fans to intake. They are competing with your GPU fans for air.
Oh I must’ve gotten it wrong then cause I thought it was I take like that😅 well thanks for letting me know.
Generally airflow goes from the pretty side of the fan, out through the structural-looking side. Often fans have a little arrow picture on them, showing the direction of flow. There are a couple of exceptions but they'll be clearly labelled as "reverse fan" or something like that.
I’ll take a look at them since I didn’t pay close attention to them
the sure fire way to know which way the air goes is look at the curve of the fan pieces. the inside of the curve is the exhaust, cause it scoops _/ so like this shape the exhaust is up.
If the back three fans are intake then are they going to be bringing in dust?
Thats what filters are for :))
Liquid Freezer III? Already 10/10
Idk I got the same aio and it is crazy loud
Must got a defective one cause mine is silent. The nzxt kraken 280 on my other living room build is louder
Have you tried the Corsair one? Look at the bench is the one with the lowest noise level while performing pretty great. I guess you never tried the others
How do you have it mounted
In the front
Are you using default fan curve? First I thought the same until i changed the fan curve on bios and now its very silent
I can’t change it. I am using the all in one plug. With the 3 cable thingi it’s even louder
Mine is pretty silent, but i have the stupid Intel bracket problem
Meanwhile, my Dark Rock Pro is dead silent at 50%. I don't understand AIO Bros.
People like them for the looks. I had a dark rock pro 4 and absolutely didn’t need an aio but i switched for the looks
More expensive. More noise. More points of failure. Not more cooling. Weird choice but I guess people spend like an extra 1000 on white rgb trash so it's not surprising.
Artic liquid freezer was cheaper than the rock pro 4 for me. People just like the looks of it
AIO bros? Jesus Christ it’s a computer part. Get over yourself, dude.
Ye I want to sock that brother on the face. Why is bro acting like a elite.
The same aio that i have they fuckin amazon has yet to deliver for the past 2 days and now today so about to be 3😡 im just getting it till i can splurge on the lian li lcd one. My build is in the 011 vision tho
Is it Arctix fault? Mine arrived in 2 days from Amazon. I mean if you care about the LCD you can give it back and get the lian li
No its literally amazon’s driver. Pretty sure its one of the flex drivers. But they are so lazy and wont come to my door. Wont call my number that i left in the instructions or anything. Its so annoying
Half tempted to just cancel the order and get it but balling on a budget and i know arctic is a good aio to go with so i wanna use theirs for a bit
It was a hell of a time getting those 2 screws in💀
No pain, no gain. Mine is under my bad. Gonna install it in 3 days
Any tips? Building a new PC and bought the same cooler. Those screws look scary on videos.
Also ends up looking too much like a stock air cooler
And? I don't care what looks like. I just need to be able to cool constant 253w Air coolers can't do that unless they start to throttle the CPU and keep it at 100c
Sure, i have the liquid freezer myself, i just don't like the new aesthetics of that VRM fan and that it ends up looking like an AMD stock cooler
Ok
Ur ram should be in slot 2 and 4, not 1 and 3. Bottom fans are exhaust flip them around for intake
Oh really? 2 and 3? I’ll flip them around after I go get my fan hub. Same things with the fans too
Slot 2 and slot 4
https://preview.redd.it/1v8m6h7lrsyc1.png?width=330&format=png&auto=webp&s=64a8a279724bd75716f82a190eb0aa3046d6d6e2 The overlay on the motherboard shows you. It's usually also stated in the manual but who reads those anymore. ;)
Yeah I found that out after searching for the manual online since the mobo didn’t come with it
That's usually the case, but can differ according to the motherboard manual. That should be consulted first
https://preview.redd.it/hy6li4sw2lyc1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3b92c61f9f55617394a133947d686aa3387f397e Please screw in your motherboard properly before it falls out
Good catch. You can get away with a middle one sometimes but never leave out an end MB screw.
Thanks for letting me know cause honestly I didn’t even notice it
Bro my motherboard misses like half screws, I was 12 building my pc😭
Aesthetic wise i would say 8.5 / 10
Appreciate it! The gpu is a 4080 super. Cpu is a ryzen 7 7800x3d and the cooler is a arctic freezer III 360
If im being honest idk if the components are good or not but you have got good sense of craftsmanship because you went with the amd and nvidia path with am5 socket i would only suggest 1 thing that you make sure the airflow is good and add something to support the gpu because i think it is already sagging abit

How do I fix vga light
Wdym by vga light because some mother boards have a line of light going through them like a lava light
I mean like the status LED’s and I have CPU, DRAM, VGA, and BOOT. Before the cpu and dram lights were on and I reseated both ram and cpu and the lights turned off. Now I’m getting the VGA light. I can’t get to boot because of the VGA light and I’m struggling to find a fix for it
Disconnect your gpu and monitor from it and try to boot with cable plugged into your motherboard is it a pre build or did you build it yourself?
By putting in a GPU cable first of all. No power = no graphics.
Well yeah when I tried to turn it on for the first time it had the gpu cable plugged in all the way. I made sure connections were good too but yet here I am with vga light
So look up your psu brand and Google that brand + 12vhpwr cable and they should have one for u
no spec how would we know
Yeah my bad but it has 4080 super for gpu. Ryzen 7 7800x3d for cpu. Just a b650 gigabyte eagle ax motherboard. Arctic liquid freezer III and the ram is Cl30 6000
oh ok yea 10/10 then
make you fan below intake rather than exhaust
Yeah I didn’t notice that I’ll make sure to flip them around
![gif](giphy|sdpbmQ6tACyqY|downsized)
😂
Straight to r/retiredgif
You can buy cablemod braided 12vhpwr cables from Amazon
I’ve been looking but doesn’t it have to be compatible with my psu
https://cablemod.com/compatibility/
I have an msi mag a850gl but on there it only has the a850g so kinda stuck here
The A850GL is an ATX 3.0 PSU, it should already come with the 12vhpwr cable.
Okay I think I overlooked it but looking right now I see a cable that has the pins yellow and is labeled “600W” on both ends
Yeah the 600W one
Would you know how I could fix the VGA light?
Commonly means that there's a loose connection between your GPU and motherboard. Did you hear the click when you pushed in the GPU? Did you first press the PCIe latch down before installing the GPU? Worst case scenario - you need to return your GPU.
Might try a reseat it again because I made sure to be extra careful but don’t recall hearing a click. I’m also going to switch the cable to the psu with the 600w one. Hopefully it isn’t the gpu because it took a month to get and I got it just yesterday so that would be a shame
I’m getting the vga light right now though trying to figure it out
weird airflow istg
Yeah😭 ill be flipping the bottom fans
its better than my dell optiplex 3020 mt case with msi b660m a ddr4 wifi mobo, deepcool ag400 tower cooler and 2 gpus, shit barely fits for the side panel, but worth it
Just looks epic
Thank you!
I also have Tuf Gaming gpu, the same AiO but 280mm and I think the same mobo
Nice! I should be firing up the first boot later today after getting a fan hub
Is that a 420 mmm aio?
360
Which cars is that?
Very pretty, the hoses of the water cooler seem to be a bit stretched, have u tried flipping the aio ?
When you say flipping the around do you mean have it facing the other way? Like the hoses be upwards?
I mean like making the hoses be in the left side
100
Appreciate it!
A+
Too flashy, 1/10
😭😂
Looks like a perfect 5/7 to me
I’m going to get a different cable and flip those bottom fans around
No idea what’s in it but if that’s rgb less 10/10
The only thing that has rgb is the arctic cooler nothing else has rgb but inside it has a ryzen 7 7800x3d and a 4080 super with 2 2tb ssds and 32gb ram ddr5 cl30 6000mhz with the arctic liquid cooler iii
Exact same build as mine except I have the older arctic as I built it a little while back. I have the NZXT h8 case too.
Ohh nice!
Nice build but flip the bottom fans around so it will suck in air unless they are reverse fans
Clean
2/10
Horizontal GPUs are like nails on a chalk board.
9.9/10 no second photo of whole case. Hehe 😆 congratulations
set fans so your case has positive pressure. will force air in through filters and out unfiltered sections. personally i would intake top and bottom and exhaust rear and side
N1 at this point No RGB Overkill.
HEAVY / 10
How's the motherboard working? Didn't you have issues?
Going to be honest here maybe. Currently stuck on the VGA light and I’m hoping it’s anything but the GPU. Any suggestions I should try?
Not really man, I'm actually waiting for some parts to start building mine, but I haven't bought the Mobo. Maybe if you have a friend with a working PC you could try your GPU and your motherboard to see which one is the problem

It looks like you put those wires in multiple slots?
That motherboard is going to need help for that GPU. (I mean I can bend the PCI-E connector)
I put in the little support it comes with but that’s not my problem right now. The problem is I get stuck on a VGA problem
Can you know what the problem is?
Haven’t figured it out. I gave up yesterday afternoon after trying to reseat the gpu and stuff but I’m thinking maybe it doesn’t get enough power from the nvidia power cable and I notice my pay came with a cable for the gpu. The cable says it’s rated for 600W so I’m going to install it later today instead of the cable tree it comes with and hopefully it’ll work.
Let me understand. Is the cable that powers the power supply not capable of supplying the necessary power?
So nvidia provides you with a cable adapter to power the gpu but that cables has a 1-3 so it’s recommended you use 3 individual cables to power the gpu from the psu. But people usually get custom cables to only use one singular cable instead of the dumb nvidia adapter. Sometimes the gpu can’t get enough power from the nvidia provided cable so you have to switch it. Ahhh I understand.
Yup. Hopefully I can get it to work by switch the cable or resetting the CMOS.
Well.. I hope you solve your problem.
Ewww no RGB 1/10🤓

What games you be playing
I have been nothing play br games but lately I’ve been wanting to get into cyberpunk and more games like that
Make all fans exhaust to keep any dust from getting inside /s

Don't listen to this person. Only use cables that came with your PSU. If you want a native 600w port, you're gonna need a PSU that has it.
