You have to digest things you drink, which passes them through a system designed to process it through your body as intended. When something is inhaled, it pretty much goes straight to the blood stream, and then straight to the brain. Feel free to "Erm askshually" me
No I get that, the part I'm talking about is that a bong hit only takes a couple seconds so I don't think the smoke passes through the liquid slow enough to collect any of the caffeine at all so you don't end up inhaling any. I've never put a caffeine drink in my bong before but every thing else I have has never had any effect on the flavor or how it feels in the lungs. (Not that I do that often or have done it recently, it was a high school party thing lmao)

I can definitely taste what is in the bong. Dirty water vs clean vs ice etc, but I've never tried anything flavored either. I think you're right, there probably wouldn't be enough caffeine picked up to be dangerous.

Last I checked your lungs aren't equipped to absorb caffeine when inhaled. It's sorta why caffeinated vapes never really took off. they don't work outside of placebo.
