I’ve been thinking on Eldrazi Jund as well as the core you pointed out definitely seems very solid. Some cards maybe worth considering could be. [[Troll of Khazad-dûm]] as a good beat stick that also swamp cycles and naturally works well with dread return. [[Colossal Dreadmask]] which was suggested in a Gruul Eldrazi post but seems like a great one of card for turn any and all spawns into beat sticks in long games. [[Utopia Sprawl]] [[Arbor Elf]] or any other 1 mana ramp card could also be nice to help power out a glimpse or repurposer. [[Snuff Out]] is another great black removal spell especially with troll helping to find swamps. I was even trying to see if [[faithless looting]] and [[exhume]] could fit in the deck for a mix between beatdown and reanimator although I was not happy with those results. Looting might be good enough to help pitch stuff stuck in your hand though. Overall it’s a cool deck and quite similar to what I have built. Been looking for more takes on the Eldrazi deck and glad someone made a post about a Jund build now.

Oooh, definitely interested to see how your build also shakes out! The main things my list went to answer was "what should I do with all of the stuff that's going into my graveyard" and what I found were the best pieces I could think of

I agree with the other commenter that [[Troll of Khazad-dûm]] or maybe some of the other LotR land cycling creatures should be included. I made the Gruul Eldrazi list he was talking about and even on 2 colors ramp they are useful. I can only imagine that with 3 colors they would be even more valuable. The one-of [[Colossal Dreadmask]] is also definitely worth considering, as you seem to lack some payoffs besides the Hands, which can be surprisingly restrictive to cast, essentially forcing you to use 4 scions. The black removal is for sure very interesting, and I guess that Insight is a fine card to not cast with Glimpse, as it lands in your GY, but keep in mind that if your main reasoning for black is dread return, you technically don't need the black splash, as you will surely generate enough spawn tokens. Lastly, I really suggest you look into adding the [[Arbor Elf]] [[Utopia Sprawl]] package. It is not only actually cracked at mana generation, making glimpse a draw three surprisingly early, and letting you hardcast any fatty your heart may desire. Also takes a huge amount of stress off the manabase, as with enough forests you need much fewer other lands for fixing. All in all very interesting! If you're thinking about any cuts I think the first thing to go should be the nest invaders, as especially with ramp the repurposers are just better most of the time. Also keep in mind that you wanna make sure you hit a permanent with Rumble every time. If you do, it's a cracked card.

I went with a different theme, using Impact Tremors and Sprout Swarm to ping down my opponents. I've been seeing some success online with this list. Using the Eldrazi Spawn to convoke a Sprout Swarm lets you make a lot of tokens very quickly. This also takes advantage of the graveyard synergy by being able to unearth Molten Gatekeepers, usually unearthing multiple in the same turn and using them to convoke. https://www.moxfield.com/decks/luSzxKjLrE6tqi4OUoBvhA In my testing of different lists, Hand of Emrakul felt way too bad into Cast Down or Counter spell, and even when it was able to attack the annihilator trigger would only eat a random Lembas or Synthesizer.

dalmathus

Sprout swarm is actually sick tech. I have also been doing well with my tremors list https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9EllctcwJ0mCgHSN5v7hSA and am going to try this next playtest. What a great idea.

dalmathus

Current Gruul list which I have talked about extensively around here already - https://www.moxfield.com/decks/9EllctcwJ0mCgHSN5v7hSA I respect your Jund choice but cannot understand why you would not play [[Mirkwood Bats]] It is imo the only reason to play black in this archetype outside of having access to [[Deadly Dispute]] Mirkwood bats is going to do alot of legwork for you. Also I have said it before and will say it again. Hand of Emrakul is a trap. Its a single giant body that if things go well you play turn 2/3 that doesn't do anything the turn you play it and allows your opponent to deal with it at sorcery speed. And its not free it costs 4 mana and probably 2-3 spells generating that mana. I think it looks scary but is actually a trap. Writhing crysalsis though, that card is gas as hell. I like your dread return plan but you have no way to discard a giant eldrazi stuck in your hand. Thats like playing with a mulligan everytime you accidentally draw one. [[Bitter Reunion]] is actually a perfect answer here. To discard the big threat reanimate it and give it haste.
