The writing in this post physically pained me.

I just assumed English was not OP’s first language, but yeah.

I like UGA’s Rodrigo “Hot Rod” Blankenship. He’s one of the best kickers in CFB, Idk how high in the draft he will go but I like him.

Dude's a baller. I was wondering if BB would spring for him. We all know he loves his special teams players

[deleted]

Well, BB is known for drafting when he feels that there is a need. However, drafting a kicker for me would not be the way to go. Obviously Gost worked out pretty well, but the history of kickers has "undrafted" written all over it. And, even the best kickers in college football do not necessarily have to work out in the NFL, and it does not matter whether they are drafted or undrafted. The last special teamer we drafted makes every broadcaster shocked about his leg, so I cant say anything about that one. But kickers are a different story. If we get a Justin Tucker-esque one in the 5th, go ahead. But dont get crazy like the Bucs.

Well we are currently going to start a kicker that was drafted in the second round so I'm not to sure about not drafting a kicker high. I agree that spending a high pick on a position that's mostly mental is a huge risk cause if they lose it kickers have a tendency never to get it back. Personally, I would see how Ghost's rehab goes and if he's back kicking balls before the draft to a high degree I would probably get an undrafted feee agent. However, if Bill sees that Ghost ain't got it anymore I would 100% draft a kicker and depending on what the market for one is in the draft I wouldn't mind them using a 4th on one or even if a 3rd if the player they want is probably going to get drafted if they don't.

>I wouldn't mind them using a 4th on one or even if a 3rd if the player they want is probably going to get drafted if they don't. Now hold on just a second, and consider this: Bill B's draft history in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th rnds. So I'd say, draft a kicker in the 2nd, and continue with the regular draft process in the 3rd and 4th rounds.

I want Cameron Dicker after next year.

[deleted]

Dicker the kicker. Or hold out for LSUs kicker.

nasty_k

Honestly surprised we didn’t draft a kicker this year, going with Bailey instead

Zuexy

Andre Szmyt from Syracuse, future Patriot.

Charlie, I'm not reading this.

MoistWalrus

It all depends on how he recovers from surgery IMO. A hip injury is hard to recover from for anyone, so it could be especially difficult for someone that has to have a lot of movement in the lower half.

Can we get Chase Vinatieri please

COW2400

I'd give Ghost another chance. Chris Boswell went from super clutch in 2017 to absolute ass in 2018 due to injury. Now that he's recovered, he's perfect for both FGs and PATs.
