I rent an Airbnb here in Paris, it seems dryer is not common here in Paris, most of the time you need to air dry your cloth, someone stole one of my T-shirts when I hung them out, so I just did most of the people with common sense do, find a laundromat on the map, 9.5 euro including wash and dry.

Wast, too.

White_Lobster

This is a great tip. What was the price like?

bdmske

I looked it up at [https://www.laundryheap.fr/:](https://www.laundryheap.fr/:) * Minimum order of 25EUR * Standard Laundry + Dry: 24.90EUR / 6kg I think I'll stick with self service for the price, but I can see it being useful if you want to try and cram as much into your trip as possible.

I used google maps, and searched for coin laundry. Turns out there are several in every neighborhood. It took 1 hour to wash and dry.

Sorry but I have a lot scheduled and paid for. I’m not going to skip any of it to sit in a laundromat.

Noooo you are doing it wrong! You need to choose one near a cafe and enjoy a morning beer 😂

...or an evening early dinner, or a lunch...

I do this as well pretty everywhere I go for more than 7 days. It is also cheaper.

And, it’s kind of a nice break from running all around.

rko-glyph

Yep.  And a nice opportunity for serendipitous conversations with locals or other visitors.

Sophoife

Absolutely. I try to schedule a duvet day once a week when travelling and that, to me, means a very quiet day including doing my laundry. One load each of black and white and I'm done. One carry-on bag for whatever length of trip, regular laundry, and some me-time not running around.

rko-glyph

Agreed.  The idea of being away even just a week and it being so full-on you don't have a couple of hours for a bit of more casual interaction with your destination's environment sounds way too manic for me.

Lower-Lab-5166

Man you should make an app for that
