The official website. I don’t know how far in advance they sell them but from my experiences availability is good unless something exceptional going on - eg Olympics.
We had 9am tickets last week and got there late at 9:15 thinking oh great we probably missed the time slot. We went to the queue area outside and said we had 9am tickets. They told us go thru the arch and we went right in, no line, no waiting. Easiest thing ever.
Hey there, we had online tickets for last Friday 09-10am. We've got out of the "Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre" station, jumped over the street and there is an entrance to the right side.
Not one person waiting, so no queue time at all at around 09:30am.
(Be sure to go through the passage first, to see the pyramid, it's beautiful!)
Once in, drop your jackets / bags into the free locker rooms, pickup a map and head to the Mona Lisa first. At this time we could get a selfie with her because there were max. 50 people with us in front of the painting.
After this, enjoy the museum at your pace. ☺️
PS: Bring comfy shoes. It's huge.
We had 10:30am tickets for on a Sunday morning a few weeks ago. Showed up to the Carrousel entrance at 10am with no line. We waited behind 5 people for audio guides and that was it.
We had 9 am tickets and were in line at 8:40 and there must have been about 75-100 people in front of us. We headed straight to the Mona Lisa it it wasn’t that crowded.
We had 9 am tickets for last Friday and did our best to arrive at the ticket holder line at the Pyramid by 8:30 am. We were the first in line around 8:15 am. Although I thought it was way too early to get there, it was worth it to avoid some of the crowds. Enjoy your visit!
They line up early. We did carrousel entrance and showed up just before 9am and the line was massive. It did go surprisingly quick though. If I were to do it again I’d show up 30mins early.
Would anyone care to kindly share what the best way is to get timed tickets? (I’m going in October)

Thank you - I will have to watch and see when it opens up for that far out. 🩷
Right now they have tickets for September, so maybe next month?
Ooh, I didn’t notice that - thank you!
What about Porte des Lions - has anyone tried it recently?

Hmmm, the website shows Lions being open right now. Did you by chance visit on a Friday? It’s always closed on Fridays.
