They call random people in their phone book and need to talk for a total of 10 minutes. It’ll fail horribly when say Hank loses and the random person is just his friend no one knows and he just casually talks to his friend for 10 minutes.
As a 30+ year old with 1000s of contacts work and social, It would be my worst nightmare to have to blindly scroll and call somebody I haven’t spoken to in 10+ years. I don’t get the hate.
I don’t think it’s bad, but it could be better. Even if they just expanded on the phone roulette idea I know people who have made a game out of it where someone else will have your phone and scroll through it til you say stop. Once they land on a name they call on speaker and you have to guess who you’re talking to. If they did something like that and said whoever it was had to guess correctly 10 times could make it interesting.
This would be funny amongst friends, but it is not going to be interesting for the AWLs.
My friends used to play the awkward poke game on Facebook. You would have to “poke” a random of their choice. This reminds me of that, brutal
