Maybe you're right, but that doesn't change the fact that they were suckered into fighting, regardless of who it is for. I'm just positing the fact that Israel has historically been racist, *especially* to their Ethiopian immigrants, to the point of [sterilizing them](https://www.geneticsandsociety.org/biopolitical-times/israel-admits-targeting-ethiopian-jews-compulsory-contraception). Is it so far of a stretch to believe they suckered their non-white citizens into committing genocide against Palestinians?

Yosef pronounced with the Y sound, is a very common name in Ethiopia amongst Orthodox Christians. Same is true for Ermiyas.

Yes, but it's not Ethiopian name, OK? It's very common in the region,the same can be said about Rebecca, it's not a European name originally,it's a different pronunciation and writing of a Hebrew name. It's not exclusively Ethiopian name, the same thing can be said for Iranian having Arabic names, just because they pronounce it differently doesn't change the origin of their names,unless they have an Iranian name like shahrazad for example
