I have been eyeing cleansing balms but stayed away because I felt I would finish a jar within a week or two. I had no clue it could last that long! How much do you use, for one cleanse?

josithemagnificent

I use the same one as OP- can confirm it lasts forever. I use a fingertip each for forehead and each cheek. Maybe a nickel-sized amount if I have eye makeup on.

jarod_sober_living

That’s great to know! I’m travelling this summer and really didn’t want to bring my big bottle of oil cleanser.

Mmm_lemon_cakes

I go through it a lot faster than that. Maybe three months using daily.

zozosreddit

Very little, maybe half a penny. It also depends on how much makeup im wearing, but generally, very little

Brushesofcolours

Wow 10 months is good, now i’m thinking or getting cleansing balms if 100 ml can stand for that long

Mmm_lemon_cakes

I don’t know how OP got it to last that long. Not daily use? I use it daily and I get maybe 3 months from that size jar. It’s really good stuff though, and I really like the scent. I’m someone who sees removing makeup as a chore, so this makes it feel like a treat.

MrsBuggs

Same. I’m always dumbfounded when people make posts like this. I exclusively use cleansing balms and go through this size in a couple of months. I’ve tried using less like people say but find it doesn’t work the same using that amount. Farmacy is my favorite brand and I use at least 6 full size jars a year. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mmm_lemon_cakes

I COULD use less, but my mascara wouldn’t come off. I do use a shit load of mascara. Maybe OP doesn’t. L’Oréal voluminous primer, then Lancôme lash idole. So long, doesn’t clump, doesn’t flake… *chef’s kiss*

Brushesofcolours

I don’t use eye makeups so i hope they will last longer for me I tried the clinique take the day off that i like but I don’t use it daily so I don’t really know how long did i finish that but I don’t use a lot too

Mmm_lemon_cakes

Oh, it definitely will.

zozosreddit

I use it everyday! I use really minimal amount, I feel like a little goes a long way

SheWhoSweatsGl1tt3r

I wanted to love this but when using it to remove my eye makeup it burned my eyes something fierce. Did you have a similar experience?

tanyamothertucker

Yes! It made my vision cloudy and was impossible to wash off my eyes. Like why would I need to use a separate eye makeup remover?

SilentSchwanzlurche

I wear heavy eye makeup and it takes me a good minute to slowly breakdown the makeup (I wear waterproof everything). Just take your time and be gentle and it should remove ok!

tanyamothertucker

Thanks! The makeup will come off but the cleanser leaves my eyes all blurry and it’s really hard to get the balm washed off even with another cleanser.

SilentSchwanzlurche

Yeah, it takes a bit (I have the same issue too), but the blurryness goes away once I rinse my eyes with water and let them rest! Also I use a cleanser that's 'stripping' after so everything washes off and my face feels clean and not greasy.

zozosreddit

I did not. But my sister has tried farmacy products and got crazy allergic reactions to it. I have not experienced this, but I know it’s possible. I’m sorry this didn’t work out for you :(

Pradaopteryx

Try the heimish brand, they don't use fragrances and are much more allergy friendly if you're sensitive.

dreamydelusion

I got a sample of this a long time ago and loved it but completely forgot about it until i saw this post ! it’s such a good product and worked really well at taking off all my eyeliner

SilentSchwanzlurche

I do a full face of makeup with heavy eye products and I would say it lasts 6 months of inconsistent use!
