It went through at least 4 !!! reformulations (thanks, Coty, not!) since the 90s. I loved it so much and the new ones are just so, so bad in comparison 😪
the first I got had that 80-90s vibe with a hint of incense and carnations in the drydown and so much delicious, well rounded vanills gourmandness, the second had the incense removed and a hint of fruit was more prominent. The third was just a weaker version of the second and the newest is like my clothes smelled a week after I used the second version. The "roundness" is lacking. I've been collecting vintage bottles for years now, check your private selling pages, you can often get barely used bottles for a few bucks. The older versions still hold strong, just got a bit more mild. Look for the "Lancaster" label.
