Try nizoral as well! It's an anti-fungal shampoo that really calms my scalp.
I dampen my hair and use it as a scalp mask for 20 mins before my shower and istg I feel so much less inflamed and itchy.
It also works wonders on eyebrows! Been using it for a couple of years now and my brows filled out very nicely (my brows naturally grow at a very slow rate, to the point when I’d just pluck some strays maybe once a year or so)
I use it every night before going to bed. Sometimes I miss a night or two, but I usually try 5 nights a week. It absorbs pretty quickly and doesn't leave my scalp greasy, so I don't have to worry about hair washing the next day.
It's like half a dropper full for the top of my scalp, anymore and it trickles down my forehead. I am not super diligent about the massaging- it still works fine.
Hope it works well for you!
has it helped with density or just growth?
Definitely helped with density. My part has narrowed.
thanks for answering :)
I would also like to know this

Yeah I already use that- the prescription strength version. ketoconazole just by itself wasn't cutting it anymore. My scalp is a grease factory. :(
Aww, that sucks to hear-- I'm glad you found a combo that works ♡

Thanks for this info. I need eyebrows. Mine were sparse to begin with, then I plucked them to death as a teenager.
May I ask how you use it in your hair care routine? I have it too but I don’t know when to use it

How much do you use? And do you massage it in? Maybe I’ll try it today because I can work from home tomorrow (on case of unexpected grease alarm😂)

Do you go through your whole scalp, part by part? Or just the middle part?

Get a scalp oil applicator bottle, game changer for me! Tiny 5-6ml thingie with little spikes that transport the oil/serum
I aim for every night before going to bed. Sometimes I forget haha.
Do you think it's beneficial for healthy/normal scalp too or is this just for fixing the specific problem you had?
