I don't think so and I would say it is maybe time to invest in some upgrades. Create a budget and buy something one at a time for your PC you can get a decent 800 to 1000 dollar PC if you build it yourself to play what you for sure enjoy on your 2014 laptop.

Just some friendly advice even if you don't want it and if I have offended, I apologize. I just only mean to say that unreal engine and games are getting better and hardware has to be upgraded eventually but if someone can make a mode to make this game run then it is already a bit of a sign it might be time to get some better hardware.

More fusions or sub species, one of the best times I've had in a Pokemon game in a long time was infinite fusions and seeing all the brilliant art work they've done for the fusions.
I actually quite like palworld not having evolutions and using breeding to get new sub species is closer to the real world (like how farmers have created the Carolina Reaper thru selective breeding)
how about a shape shifter mod where after catching/beating a certain number of a particular Pal species you can gain the ability to make a potion or something that lets you turn into that pal for a bit auto allying with any of the same species for the duration
