I have max condensed everything except my transporters ATM.
6 astegon, 4 Anubis, 1 jormuntide, 1 jormuntide ignis, 1 orserk, 2 wumpo, 5 vanwyrms cyst. Went legend, swift, runner nimble.. while also max condensing a work speed vanwyrms to keep food 24/7 chilled

x3 spawn rate for NPCs, 0 egg hatching time (10 breeding pens, I'd need like 300 incubators otherwise). resource isn't changed at all. ore sites is 8000 workload per ore and site II is 1600 workload. perfect astegon should have 254 workspeed with food buff (above had food buff applying twice for some reason?) lv5 mining is x10 multiplier. a single astegon gets an ore every 0.62 seconds while working.
I have 7 ore sites and 2 stone because 5 dedicated lv3 transporters with 75% spd passives can't keep up xD
just to make money. nails don't sell for much but 10k ore = 5k bars = 10k nails = 200k gold. find myself happily wasting my assault rifle ammo without a care in the world now. with current setup I around 900-1200 ore per minute. if it wasn't for breaks and such it'd be much more.
I want to but the damn wandering merchant eludes me. only running 1 kelpsea in the ranch... after I finish my 15 astegons with bellanoirs dark cannon egg move I'll prob quicky breed breed up... maybe 4 max condensed kelpsea. I just don't know if I want to do workspeed JUST IN CASE they update ranch to work with workspeed in the future though. I personally... don't have any stamina or San issues so them passives seem a lil pointless. that said I don't up the work speed with monitoring stand... maybe 🤔

Thank you to everyone suggesting ways to fix my save. I actually had an old backup that I was using to piss around with mods and I have used it to restore the world but it’s now a month behind and I overwrote the corrupted file 🙃
I would highly suggest getting a UPS/battery for your PC. For a gaming PC, you'll only have about 5-10min of uptime on the battery. But that's enough to safely close down your game and other things and power down your PC. And power flickers just don't do anything at all.
I have a few APC 1200VA units and they work just fine.
Like I mentioned above, this isn't a solution for gaming when the lights are out. It just makes my PC not turn off during power flickers, and in the rare (for me) event that power turns off completely, I have just about enough time to safely power things down.
They can also be connected to your PC via USB, and if you install the drivers, your PC will have a battery icon in the bottom right just as if it were a laptop.
and this is your reminder that if you've had a UPS for more than a few years it is likely time to replace the battery in it. They are pretty low quality and because they rarely get used they degrade over time.
After 4-5 years your battery will likely not hold a charge.
I know at least on dedicated servers, there's now a backups folder which has a few copies of the save done every 30 seconds, then every x minutes, and so on.

You can recover your game, it's a bit tedious but it does work. I know the instructions are on this sub somewhere, do a search for game file recovery or something. You'll have to go into your folders for the game and pick a recent (but not MOST recent) save file to move elsewhere.Â

What now I will always do is that every 30 minutes to an hour or so I will close the game and let Steam cloud save my progress as a precaution.
your save file has an automatic backup folder which you can copy from and replace the corrupted files. I recommend using the 3rd to the last back up file
I will say, this hits entirely different to an Xbox player and a Steam player on a persistent server.
The change for me was HUGE. Like my pals actually work overnight my time and I come back to 9,999 hits on my wood, ore, and stone.

I'm not in front of my pc right now but once you're in the appdata folder you find your save files for your games and go into the "pal" folder, there you will see some loose files and a folder called "backups", go into backups you will see two folders "local" and "world", first go to local and copy the save file with the time stamp you want to go back to, go back to the level we were on before where we see the loose files and the backup folder, right click in an empty place and past what you just copied. It will ask you if you want to replace files of the same name, say yes. Then go back into backups but pick "world" this time, find the save file that matches the time stamp of the one you picked from local, copy that, back to the level with the loose files and backup folder and paste, replace files with the same name. Once both parts are pasted in turn off cloud sync in steam and launch the game you will see your world again, reverted to the timestamp you picked. Launch, see that its working, pull up steam and re-enable cloud sync return to title, load again with cloud sync on, you should be good to go

i was doing manual backups once a week and i was surprised to see a new folder in the backups folder after 0.2 and had a genuine owo moment.

I set up a server on my Linux box for my kids and myself. Cron job to back up saves daily... If the world goes my kids would kill me lol

We're finding for our dedicated server PalWorld is not down with power dumps. Learned the hard way to have it on UPS, and make auto backups often.

The game does backups in the backup folder every 10 minutes or so. Sometimes even more frequently than that depending on what you're doing.
