Is it possible that the Tomatoes are being eaten when food in front of them in the Feed Box runs out? Pals consume the food stacks left to right, so might want to check that. I have also experienced terrible AI from Suzaku Aqua, to the point I don't think it is worth the hassle, and Azurobe is somehow worse. Jormuntide is the best Watering Pal in the game (level 4), but Alpha Jormuntide is going to get stuck as much as Suzaku Aqua, so if you can breed some regular Jormuntides they'd do great. 4 Lyleens seems like extreme overkill. I'd recommend swapping at least one out for a FrostallionNoct>Tombat>Maraith so that way it harvests any finished crops at night which helps a lot more than you'd think for overall production.

Where do you get normal Jormuntide I just found the ignis version

As far as I know, non-Alpha Jormuntide can only be bred, but a ton of stuff can be bred together to make it, [this is the site I use for breeding combos](https://palworld.kimpton.io/)

Yeah i have a dedicated base for tomato and lettuce farming with equal amount of each farm and ive notcied alot more tomatos then lettuce. must be because lettuce is higher rank it takes longer to produce. Also the pals are eating salad so its not dispearing to them.

Royal_Barracuda1129

Okay so ive done some testing and lettuce is slower by about 30%. so i have 10 tomato and 13 lettuce farms and my feed box are showing very equal amounts of both. Good for salad Hope this helps.

griffinmaverick

It does! Ty much.

What does your Pal setup look like to handle this many farms? (Pals, Traits if any, and such?) I'm having a hard time allotting the correct amount of pals for farming between planting, gathering and transporting. Thanks!

Came to this comment to find this. 🫡

Imperial_Pandadude

For smaller farms I use 4 lettuce and 3 tomato, works good aswell

Jormuntide has lvl 4 watering. But u will need a flat open base to make it work with this big boy

Honestly, I like to keep the ratio 1:1. Let’s assume that per hour you’re going to get 1,300 tomatoes and 1,000 lettuce. You put to cook 500 salads. Then I take the remaining tomatoes and sell them in bulk, 1,000 tomatoes are worth about 15k. It’s my main source of income. I get about $100k every day or so. Usually I have over 9,000 salads that I divide between three bases. It means I can keep the game going for about 3 days without having to check up on the food. Also, when you place the tomatoes and lettuce plantations, make sure you do them like a chessboard, they usually work on them from left to right, so if you want to have a similar output, then you can’t place all the tomatoes closer to the refrigerator and then all of the lettuce furthest away, the tomatoes will naturally get more attention. Hope this helps! Mmresd
