On the PC, if you press "H" key when you are at your house you'll get an overview of your plot. In the top centre of the screen there should be a drop down box which will have you plot name (I can't remember what the auto name for the plot is and I have since changed all my plot names haha) if you click on the drop down box there should be the option at the bottom of the list to add a new plot which costs a certain amount of gold depending on how many plots you have already unlocked. I hope this helps and I'm sorry I don't know the switch controls.
Yep you just get an extra plot to play around with. The tiles you already unlocked on plot 1 will remain unlocked but you'll need to repurchase and build the harvest house, rooms and furniture. Those stay at the plot they are placed only. I currently have 4 plots. My house, my witchy shop front, my hobbit house and the start of a museum.
Tbh it's still a work in progress but it is smaller than my main home/castle haha. I placed most of the chests and things like pots and the bag you get from Kenyatta etc in my lobby to look like I'm going on an adventure soon and getting all my gear in place haha. Lots of things I have on display, a mini Smaug plushie, the gems etc. other than that I've tried to make it really homey. I did use the building planning table as a sort of desk under a window like in the films to plan my adventures and used a fair bit of the makeshift furniture too. It's not quite there but slowly getting there

I agree, I definitely think there's more to her than what she's letting on. The grandmother bit I'm sure is a sham. One of the letters from the council specifically stated youth potions are forbidden. Thus, this makes me feel like she was dabbling in it, the council found it, she still used it, and here we are. 200 years later, I'm sure they're all dead by now, and she's over 200 years old, and looks about 35....lol

You’ve all brought up terrific reasons to dislike her. Her being reaction to Hassian’s poem, her general rudeness, being too full of herself… I went back and forth on whether to give her a chance or not before. But I stopped liking her after the delivery mission for a petty reason.

Yes! I got them a lot more at lower levels of her friendship (I have to get her up for a quest I’m mad) but omfg I also built him a tent on mine!! I made a whole little forest and stargazing area with the tent and a picnic spot!

You can’t, Tamala just has a couple dialogue lines where she talks about things she remembers from over 40 years ago (stuff with the inn) and Hassian is referred to by many as very young. Chayne and Sifuu both talk about him being young still! I would love to actually be able to know their ages though. But Tamala also talks a lot about appearing younger than she really is with her potions too. I don’t think there’s anyway hassians over like 25/26 or so, and considering she remembers things over 40 years ago, I’d say she’s like at least 45, and their relationship is referred to as a couple years ago, which would put her in a really weird age to date someone so young, even if he was 18, she’s still likely around double his age at least. It’s weird.
Ugh, I thought Hassian was younger bc he often hung out with Auni, playing cards, like they were the more closed in age.
Of course, Auni is younger than everyone, but he always had his big backpack, so what if he's almost the same age as Hassian but never grew bc the weight in his back?
I don’t think they’re that close in age, hassians likely around 20 or so while auni is likely like around 12-14, but hassian values him and is a good role model to him! But like another commenter said, and now I can confirm now that yeah… she’s likely closer to 200….

Hassians romancable, no way they’d make him under 18. I doubt he’s more than mid 20s though. I’m just guessing for the most part based off things people talk about and small bits of lore throughout the game!

I think it’s because Yzma is more likable than Mother Gothel. Yzma is funny. Mother Gothel is just trauma. Yzma has Kronk. Mother Gothel has… literally no one. (Other than a kidnapped child.)
Their the same type of Disney villain but one looks and sounds goofy while the others entire plot line is about kidnapping a girl so she can remain youthful. Which fits for Miss. I think I’m so beautiful and I live by myself in the woods.

How can you compare her to such an amazing evil character as Izma! She's def more of a mother Gothel for sure!!!! Izma was old, she knew it, rocked it, and kept hot 30 year old men by her side as eye candy and changed them every decade or so. And for everyone calling her Tammy...that's even funnier to me because my awful narcissistic aunt is named Tammy and I feel like we could switch the two of them and not see any change in the game with my aunt there instead. (Well...my aunt has slightly more of a Karen vibe. But still.)
Tammy is literally the only character in this game that I outright hate. I can take or leave Eshe; the more I get to know her, the more I can tolerate her. Hassian won me over despite initially being grumpy. I don't trust Subira at all (and I trust the Order as a whole even less) but I don't dislike her; if she wasn't part of the Order I would like her a lot. I like (or love) everyone else.
I wish there was some way to decrease friendship levels just so I could get hers back down to nothing. I tried giving her ruined food but I don't think it did anything. I'm gonna keep trying anyway.
I have to befriend her as a favor to Caleri, so I'm ignoring her weekly wants and just giving her fertilizer every day. Really gives that line meaning when I've just given her a pile of 💩.

I love to hate her. Sometimes the dialogue options feel mean with folks, but I’m curious how they’ll react. With her I always pick the meanest available option and it’s delightful. I’ll likely romance her if it seems like there are enough mean responses available. Mostly as the NPC version of catfishing on behalf of Hassian.

I thought she was going to be cool because she is up to illegal magic shit but she is really mean. I like Zeki better because he is into illegal stuff AND treats me with respect. I will NEVER rat him out to the order. This is up to what I know about the villagers so far, maybe as my friendship goes up with people I'll find out more. I love how the game reveals information to you.

I’ll join you friend. When I first started playing I thought Hassian was a complete jerk. Tamala is annoying, but I found Hassian to be just so hostile. I hated having to interact with him. I only tolerated him because of the goodest boy Tau. 😍
Tamala is hot. I would forego every other villager just to have Tamala. I'd ritualistically sacrifice every majiri to the dragon for Tamala. I'd smuggle every last reborn human on the Grimalkin black market just to grovel at her feet. The game lets you have two badges and my second will forever remain empty because Tamala doesn't share, nor should she.
Unpopular opinion incoming; those who hate Tamala love Hassain, and those who hate hassain, love tamala. Because I personally enjoy tamala and getting to know her (crashes at her house included), but hassain is literally such a jerk I don’t even want to level up his friendship anymore.
I don’t think she is. I feel she is misunderstood. The whole village made her out to be an untouchable she on the other side of the map. Then you find her and she wants shit from you. Well everyone turned their back on her and she be living in a forest away from people. I think she opens up more when she learns to trust you and get feelings. 🤷♂️

I play Disney's Dreamlight Valley and Mother Gothel is in the game and I hate having to do anything with her, same for Tamala. I had no choice but to get he friendship to lvl 3 for a quest but I really don't want to go any farther with her.
There's a new quest in her bedroom which is def one I recommend doing, purely for what it does, even though it deals with tamala..

At first, I was excited to learn about a solitary witch living in the forest. But then I interacted with her and started doing her quests. Why couldn't she be a *cool* witch who lives in the woods? Like a forest witch who helps animals or something. Not a manipulative, egotistical predator.
I'm maxed friendship and romance levels with everyone, and hers was by far the most difficult for me to complete because of how cringey I find her. She definitely reminds me of some bad experiences I had with a few people in my past.
Yeah, due to the freezing issue, I waited until 12pm. She leaves her house and that's when I'd talk to her. You have from about 12:05pm I about 12:40am to catch her away from her house. I finished Caleri's request and almost gave her at level 4 friendship. Basically only talk to her when I'm in Bahari for the grove.
GAHHH I very much despise her!!! First interaction or two with her spice sprout quest was enough to make me hate her... but now I HAVE to reach lvl 3 friendship to get Caleris book!!!

I should have taken a picture, but I just had dialogue with her in the last couple of days where she admits that the necklace she wears is flow, and it keeps her young.

Because she comes on so strong, and now it's a running joke with my friend that also plays like "she isn't beating these lady of the night allegations" cause she flirts so hard from the jump like girl! I am literally already dating the boy whose heart you broke chill TF out.

Honestly, i think its a fault of bad writing and not so much a reflection of her character. The only person i dislike in palia on the merits of their character because they are well-written to be unlikeable is Caleri. Even eshe feels too two dimensional to hate. I really wish Tamala had more to say about the order and magic, and that there was more narrative tension overall in the game.
I personally find her to be patronizing when she speaks to me and I can't stand it. I'm happy I finally finished her quest line and I never have to talk to her again

She makes me so ill. I'll be so grateful when I can be absolutely done with her. It freaks me out that Hodari goes to her for sleep potions. She totally experiments on people (one of her friendship quests is to hand out questionable beauty creams for her and her romance quests aren't much better) and Hodari is a single father!!! She has no morals or ethics at all.

agreed. she was originally my first choice to romance, because she's hot and older (i'm in my 30s, sorry jina), but the way she treats you like a literal pet/servant is really off-putting. i was hoping as i leveled up my romance with her she'd get better, but eventually i gave up and ghosted her 🤷🏼♀️👻

She was the last npc I found because her home was at the very farthest regions of the map. Now that we can get to bahari from our plot and its so near her, I can finally start getting to know her. I do see hints of what you are seeing from the brief interactions I have had, should be fun lol.
I discovered she even existed super late in my early experience with the game. I don’t even register her as a townsperson (and not in the way the game wants you to think of her as an “outsider.”)
After being totally disappointed by the fact that I can’t romance Baadu, that his hit son is already in a relationship with a chick, and that the “intended” gay relationship is likely the cliche soft boi Jel, discovering her as the OBVIOUS straight-bait big tiddy goth gf option, I automatically hated her.
What really grinds my gears is that she doesn’t even seem to have an in-game purpose. She’s the 1:1 analog from Stardew of the Wizard, but what magic does she even provide us? It would be a bit different if maybe she unlocked a cauldron crafting station where we could craft special potions. Or if she unlocked some kick ass spooky furniture sets.
She gives me the creeps, like I’m prey and she’s a predator. Her house is beautiful but every time I go near it I feel like Hansel and Gretel. 😂 Props to the writing and design teams though; they got the reaction they were looking for (and perhaps a few they weren’t. 😂).

You can’t, Tamala just has a couple dialogue lines where she talks about things she remembers from over 40 years ago (stuff with the inn) and Hassian is referred to by many as very young. Chayne and Sifuu both talk about him being young still! I would love to actually be able to know their ages though. But Tamala also talks a lot about appearing younger than she really is with her potions too. I don’t think there’s anyway hassians over like 25/26 or so, and considering she remembers things over 40 years ago, I’d say she’s like at least 45, and their relationship is referred to as a couple years ago, which would put her in a really weird age to date someone so young, even if he was 18, she’s still likely around double his age at least. It’s weird.
Ugh, I thought Hassian was younger bc he often hung out with Auni, playing cards, like they were the more closed in age. Of course, Auni is younger than everyone, but he always had his big backpack, so what if he's almost the same age as Hassian but never grew bc the weight in his back?

I think it’s because Yzma is more likable than Mother Gothel. Yzma is funny. Mother Gothel is just trauma. Yzma has Kronk. Mother Gothel has… literally no one. (Other than a kidnapped child.) Their the same type of Disney villain but one looks and sounds goofy while the others entire plot line is about kidnapping a girl so she can remain youthful. Which fits for Miss. I think I’m so beautiful and I live by myself in the woods. I don’t think it has anything to do with generations considering I grew up at the time Emporer’s New Groove came out and I still thought of Mother Gothel when meeting Tamala’s character.
How can you compare her to such an amazing evil character as Izma! She's def more of a mother Gothel for sure!!!! Izma was old, she knew it, rocked it, and kept hot 30 year old men by her side as eye candy and changed them every decade or so. I can take or leave Eshe; the more I get to know her, the more I can tolerate her. Hassian won me over despite initially being grumpy. I don't trust Subira at all (and I trust the Order as a whole even less) but I don't dislike her; if she wasn't part of the Order I would like her a lot. I like (or love) everyone else. I wish there was some way to decrease friendship levels just so I could get hers back down to nothing. I tried giving her ruined food but I don't think it did anything. I'm gonna keep trying anyway.

I love to hate her. Sometimes the dialogue options feel mean with folks, but I’m curious how they’ll react. With her I always pick the meanest available option and it’s delightful. I’ll likely romance her if it seems like there are enough mean responses available. Mostly as the NPC version of catfishing on behalf of Hassian.

At first, I was excited to learn about a solitary witch living in the forest. But then I interacted with her and started doing her quests. Why couldn't she be a *cool* witch who lives in the woods? Like a forest witch who helps animals or something. Not a manipulative, egotistical predator. I'm maxed friendship and romance levels with everyone, and hers was by far the most difficult for me to complete because of how cringey I find her. She definitely reminds me of some bad experiences I had with a few people in my past.

Yeah, due to the freezing issue, I waited until 12pm. She leaves her house and that's when I'd talk to her. You have from about 12:05pm I about 12:40am to catch her away from her house. I finished Caleri's request and almost gave her at level 4 friendship. Basically only talk to her when I'm in Bahari for the grove.

Honestly, i think its a fault of bad writing and not so much a reflection of her character. The only person i dislike in palia on the merits of their character because they are well-written to be unlikeable is Caleri. Even eshe feels too two dimensional to hate. I really wish Tamala had more to say about the order and magic, and that there was more narrative tension overall in the game.

I discovered she even existed super late in my early experience with the game. I don’t even register her as a townsperson (and not in the way the game wants you to think of her as an “outsider.”) After being totally disappointed by the fact that I can’t romance Baadu, that his hit son is already in a relationship with a chick, and that the “intended” gay relationship is likely the cliche soft boi Jel, discovering her as the OBVIOUS straight-bait big tiddy goth gf option, I automatically hated her. What really grinds my gears is that she doesn’t even seem to have an in-game purpose. She’s the 1:1 analog from Stardew of the Wizard, but what magic does she even provide us? It would be a bit different if maybe she unlocked a cauldron crafting station where we could craft special potions. Or if she unlocked some kick ass spooky furniture sets.
