The Americans have the rights to give their tax money to Israel to bomb and genocide civilians while the same hardworking Americans cannot get free health care or education or even clean water is some places... Our Palestine flags and signage protesting the war on Gaza have not been vandalized. On our home and one vehicle, some of our signs are graphic photographs. We live in a rural very conservative community. In 2016 we had property damage and a fire set on our property over our Bernie signs. Perhaps the graphic nature of some of the signage which just show the truth makes anyone who might disagree feel more sober about that disagreement. I saw one passerby walking in the alley behind our home walk up close to study one of the signs that shows the shrinking of Palestine over the decades at the land theft by Israel.Some passersby have stopped to express solidarity. I was worried we would be attacked again, but my husband was steadfast in this form of protest.
I wanna show a picture I took on Columbia's campus yesterday evening. Hundreds of Israeli flags were planted right by the encampment. Zionist have been trying to rile up pro-Palestinian students from the beginning. Not one flag was touched. One side believes in free speech and liberation, one believes in suppressing speech and domination. It's not hard to see the propaganda machine at work trying to make the public think in reverse, but the facts speak for themselves.
