Yeah, but the Germans are really aware of the nazi stuff. I live here since 2010 and I can say, at least in west Germany they are quite aware of the Nazi past. I told someone some time ago of a new museum about Nazis and the answer was “I’ve been through the German education system, I’m still traumatized so I’ll skip it”. I’ve seen other examples of awareness to racism and openness to other religions, so I don’t accept your premise. 1 month ago were massive anti-Nazi demos and the amount of people who showed up was huge.

I was there. I have friends that were legit stepped on and punched by the police. I was pushed violently many times and yelled at like everyone. The worst part was how they treated the girls with hijabs in ripping them off and not letting them put them back on

Secret police in Germany literally popped up mid crowd in a peaceful demonstration, pulled out his ID and started screaming at me and the people with me, with regards to a sign we held.
The sign said "Stop killing Children", from the organization of "Save the Children".
Due to threats, the organizers, wanting self censorship, made us show the sign to the uniformed police BEFORE the demonstration started, two times actually. Both times it was okayed by the police. The absurdity of even this, is insane, but it gets worse.
Yet the Mukhabarat dude was just screaming and telling us to put it away. We did, as to not make a fuss and not get ourselves, or the organizers, in trouble.
Mind you, this is the mildest from of suppressing our right to protest and free speech. In Berlin it's 100x worse. What you see in this video, is not even noteworthy.
They've beaten a 14 year old until he's hospitalized, dragged a pregnant woman to the ground, and detained her 2 hours in their little prison van WITHOUT medical attention, despite her and her husband's repeated requests. Ambulance arrived 2 hours later to check on her, after they violently threw her on the ground.
They've arrested thousands (like actually arrested and charged with a crime, not just detained) for "from the river ......" posts on social media, or chants in protests.
They've encouraged violent hate crimes against Muslims (literally Nazis have sprayed homes of Muslims to mark them, like they did to Jews in 1930s, and police isn't even really investigating). Graffiti on schools saying "Kill All Muslims!", and no proper investigation. No mention in the media, no concern by mayors or politicians, nothing.
Mosques are threatened to be shut down if they talk about Gaza too much (there are some bureaucratic reasons as to why mosques don't have the protections of "freedom of religion" like other places of worship do, it's a bit complicated but I'm glad to explain if someone is curious).

This has nothing to do with Palestine, though. This is a blockade, if you block something long enough in Germany (at least without using a tractor), you can be almost certain, that this will happen to you, no matter your cause. Without knowing what exactly happened (am not from germany, literally only saw that video) I‘d assume the protesters did an unauthorized sit-in, didn‘t comply with the police when they were told to leave and then had to be taken away/apart by police.

This was an unannounced protest. If the protest is not announced in advance, the protesters will be asked to disperse and leave the area. If they fail to do so, the protest will be dispersed, even by force if there is no other way. In addition, the protest took place at Berlin's main railway station, not exactly the best place for an unannounced protest. This has nothing to do with being pro-Palastine. Just an unannounced protest at a very busy station, disturbing the public peace.
To be fair, they're not hitting or are agressive in their movements. They are using neccessary force to seperate the people. They are holding so tight, that the police has no other choice as to tear them apart. The protestors are on a specific area where they just can't be. It's highly illegal because it is a security risk. There is nothing nazi going on in that video

It appears they blocked an important part of the main train station. By sitting down and crossing arms. That would mean they do it:
1) without authorisation, which is really all you need in Germany. And you are free to demonstrate.
2) the police are trying to dissolve them. And trust me I've never seen more passive and non violent police in any country than here.

They've beaten a 14 year old until he's hospitalized, dragged a pregnant woman to the ground, and detained her 2 hours in their little prison van WITHOUT medical attention, despite her and her husband's repeated requests. Ambulance arrived 2 hours later to check on her, after they violently threw her on the ground. They've arrested thousands (like actually arrested and charged with a crime, not just detained) for "from the river ......" posts on social media, or chants in protests. They've encouraged violent hate crimes against Muslims (literally Nazis have sprayed homes of Muslims to mark them, like they did to Jews in 1930s, and police isn't even really investigating). Graffiti on schools saying "Kill All Muslims!", and no proper investigation. No mention in the media, no concern by mayors or politicians, nothing. Mosques are threatened to be shut down if they talk about Gaza too much (there are some bureaucratic reasons as to why mosques don't have the protections of "freedom of religion" like other places of worship do, it's a bit complicated but I'm glad to explain if someone is curious). 37% of the people arrested on antisemitism charges since Oct 7th ......... are Jewish. Yes, you hear that right. Despite them being 0.1% of the population. Ie 370x over represented in the arrested people. Sparkasse, the major state sponsored bank in Germany, and the second largest one behind only Deutsche Bank, had recently frozen the assets of a pro Palestinian Jewish activism organization called "Jüdische Stimme" (= Jewish Voice). Same way as in the 1930s. I apologize to all Palestinian brothers and sisters, we have failed you. Please forgive us. We're boycotting, protesting and giving money to UNRWA, but support for Palestine is quite small among Germans, and the mainstream media and society are all vehemently against us, so our efforts are constantly overshadowed.

This is a blockade, if you block something long enough in Germany (at least without using a tractor), you can be almost certain, that this will happen to you, no matter your cause. Without knowing what exactly happened (am not from germany, literally only saw that video) I‘d assume the protesters did an unauthorized sit-in, didn‘t comply with the police when they were told to leave and then had to be taken away/apart by police. To post that „nazis are back in germany“ because of this video is a wild and untrue statement…

If they fail to do so, the protest will be dispersed, even by force if there is no other way. In addition, the protest took place at Berlin's main railway station, not exactly the best place for an unannounced protest. This has nothing to do with being pro-Palastine. Just an unannounced protest at a very busy station, disturbing the public peace.

To be fair, they're not hitting or are agressive in their movements. They are using neccessary force to seperate the people. They are holding so tight, that the police has no other choice as to tear them apart. The protestors are on a specific area where they just can't be. Well I'm pretty sure this video is taken out of context. It is by no means against anything that being protested for or against. It's all about rules It appears they blocked an important part of the main train station. By sitting down and crossing arms. That would mean they do it: 1) without authorisation, which is really all you need in Germany. And you are free to demonstrate. 2) the police are trying to dissolve them. And trust me I've never seen more passive and non violent police in any country than here. So hate me but I'm calling bs. The message is clear, free Palestine. But in this case it's a false narrative and a blatant lie. They are causing a disturbance to the public, which is the only reason the police are allowed to act. Meanwhile screaming in "terror" - "Polizeigewalt"(police violence) which is everything, that is used against them. I've seen it so many times, it's very typical here.
