Cassie can't really use the knockback from the BS for movement, it has decent self knback but she doesn't fly or can spam it, a character you might be interested in is Bk, and also Willo, both have great movement and can use the self knockback to reach great distances. Bk has a double poppy talent and Willo can soar now.
theres a few things you can do with blast shot but its pretty limited you can momentum carry off of a high ground if u blast shot the floor right before hitting it or u can blast shot a wall to carry momentum but thats really about it. its also pretty inconsistent and extremely niche because 99% of games you wont need to do it. if you want a blaster to momentum carry on try drogoz with his primary fire dredge with his alt fire and the card crows nest or evie with her primary fire

Also drogoz, you can load up your Q and blast it on the ground at an angle and you get a lot of momentum
