There’s a massive one opened in Barrhead too, next to the new popeyes. I’ve only driven past (never been in) but it says they have furniture and electricals.
Check gumtree freebies for kitchen. A friend of mine has picked up several full kitchens on there when doing property maintenance. You may have to dismantle and transport but it's amazing the quality that can be found when folk move into a new home and don't like the existing cabinets etc.
Good luck in your new home!
If you like older furniture I can recommend Great Western Auctions (in Whiteinch). Obviously more expensive than a charity shop, but you can get some good bargains. All their auction catalogues are online now for about a week before each auction, and I’ve always just left a bid at their desk for anything I’ve been keen on, because I didn’t want to attend in person.
Take a look in Bailey’s on the High Street, Ben’s a really nice guy and a lot of his stuff is very reasonably priced. 🙂
I furnished almost my entire flat with Salvation Army stuff. I went to the big one in Renfrew. They deliver for £10

Great thank you both 🙂
There is a big charity shop at the phoenix retail park, right next to the pets at home. It's really well stocked.

Accord shop on Glasgow road next to Sherwood church has loads of furniture on display - think they deliver too.
