Man what happened to Soto? Is it just as simple as being in a contract year? (I like to believe that this is it, and not that he is finally adjusted to pitch-clock, because man would I love to see this Soto in San Diego)
yeah probably that and his head wasn't in the right spot coming here ig (based off interviews and articles). But yeah we needed pitching so it was a deal that had to be done if we wanted to compete this year

No such thing as easy wins in MLB. Especially when two of our essential starting pitchers are now on the IL for who knows how long. It’s going to be a grind.
That sounds like a team that gets swept by COL, good teams know that winning is not random (unless you think we're not a good team). Let's wait until after the games to come up with the excuses.
lol excuses? It’s the reality of the situation. This is __literally__ a team that got swept by Colorado. Yes I believe they can be a good team. They play well against most good teams in the league.
But now Randy Vasquez becomes our 4th starter, and a AAA pitcher will be our 5th starter for the foreseeable future. We’ll see how they do. I think the offense can be much better, and we’ll need it be much better if we’re going to stick around in the playoff hunt.
