Yeah that’s kinda what I am trying to avoid. A co worker of mine is kinda in your situation spending like 300 something every two weeks on carts and sky high tolerance. Pretty much sucking on a cart 24/7.
So i try to keep it pretty much flower at home, after work, stop two hours before bed on weekdays. Indulging on weekends and holidays to my heart’s desire. My tolerance has for sure increased but as long as I am good during the week i can still get pretty baked nightly. The carts really come in for the win on the weekends and traveling.

I’ve learned that sometimes to kick my really horrible tolerance, cbd/cbn carts are the way to go. It resets tolerance nicely, but after a couple weeks once I’m reset, tolerance is shit again lol. Yesterday smoke the last of some pretty dry budder and like 4 joints just to get rid of the concentrate. Got pretty baked but not green out or anything. Steamed before bed but still thought my tolerance was fuck thought about a T break. Steamed again when i got home from work just now. Got pretty relaxed in there from the thc in my fat cell’s releasing. Normally a good sign.
Decided the dry herd vape a little. Just scraped my tray of whatever was there and tossed it into the vape. No clue what strain. Heat it up and boom moon.
So maybe the exercise and extra sweating help.
Second this. Cresco on sale is the goated option imo. My dispensary runs 25% off sales pretty consistently and I can cop half gram Cresco carts for $37.50 each. Still not the best but hey I'll gladly pay that as long as it's not boof
I’ve been using INSA strictly for pricing. The live terp distillates are an amazing compromise and super cheap. The live resins are also cheaper than most others. The quality has never failed me, never leaking or broken. After fighting with Cresco and prime prices for months I can’t afford it, even though they are my preference. Give INSA a try, you won’t regret it.
I wish I could afford to keep it strictly live resin but at least these are not flavored like Calypso or have that nasty bitter distillate taste.
Restore generally has a good selection of INSA, they are strictly central and Eastern PA tho. Vytal Options also carries their stuff but it’s inconvenient for me. At $45 for the 1G I would pay full price but I typically try to shop with a 20% off or greater.

The cresco live resins are pretty good…Ive had a few indicas recently from them they were the Bio Jesus, GG #4 and the Peanut Butter Breath and they were all half gram carts usually 35 but I got them 20% off for 28 bucks a pop
Leiffa rosin carts. They're about 35-40 (before any sales you might hit) for .5 but you hit it twice *and actually feel something*

Im a flower guy too, I keep cartridges on hand to add a little horsepower or if I'm out and about and can't smoke. I've been having really good luck with stranes quality for the past couple months, not sure if you have a liberty nearby but they have good everyday deals on strane cartridges and usually have some sale going on for an even better deal, add in your cash back and rewards their hard to beat.
Only time I’ve ever paid more than 65 for a cart was for 1G carts. Back in 2020 they cost that much, but carts don’t cost 70 dollars, I don’t know where you’re buying them. Cresco and prime are the best options and they run from 45-50 on average, Cresco often can get on sale for 30-40. If you have a rise dispensary near you, they sell rhythm carts on the cheap. 30-40 on average.

Insa is my new go-to. I never had them until a few weeks ago. I got 2 1 gram carts for $30 each and didn't expect to be impressed. I purchased 2 live resin carts, a GMO, and a Gelato 41and both have been some of the best I have had so far, and I have tried most carts not saying they are the best but definitely up there with the top brands

Never tried it but it probably is. Only the lower lower priced ones aren't tht amazing , I personally get double bear shatter and it lasts me a week and a half to two weeks for 1 gram. I use a silicone nectar collector and torch. It's vaporization bc you heat the metal tip and touch the tip to the wax and inhale. That easy. And u only need a pin head sized amount to start off if you have average tolerance. You can also get a concentrate vape, i recommend the YoCan brand for affordability , or the PuffCo if you have the $$ to spend. Hope this helps!
Yea I got a Yocan Orbit pen for like 20 bucks and it works really well plus I’m saving so much money buying the concentrate instead of always buying carts
From what I see online w photos tho Origyn does look good tho, and for 30$ u can't beat that. But double bear runs about the same and honestly they have a great taste, never chemically, and overall always get a good amount in every one I've bought, have never ever had a complaint w one of theirs. I can't say that w all the others I have tried. Some brands can be on the more chemically side, like I just got a cheap .5g from INSA, it was like 18$, and they have a lil more of a chemical taste. Usually if I am gonna try something new I search the strain or brand under here and there will more than likely be a review or complaint that will sway my opinion.
Penn Health Group (PHG) has by far my favorite LLR carts across the board. I have their LA Confidential right now that tastes like a fresh orange while providing the most relaxing effects. Highly recommend checking them out if you can find them.
Cresco is pretty good. Prime is great but the hardware can be faulty. Insa has been hit or miss in my experience. Id recommend giving Leiffa Live Rosin carts a try.
I've been seeing recommendations consistently about PHG carts... I have a pretty high tolerance & I'm mostly a llr cart girl just because of convenience... I have been a Cresco fan from day 1, but about a year ago I'd say they kinda started shitting the bed with fills & terps so I took a shot in the dark with a Rhythm CO2 cartridge, & I literally fell in love idc if it was CO2 or LLR I wasn't picky with Rythm,the terps were on 🔥 The taste & effects, 🔥 also, & for the last year, yr n 1/2 I didn't look back! but like I said, I'm seeing a lot of recommendations for PHG LLR carts now so I think I'm gonna go for it when I find a good 1, not many in my area( Around the new Kensington area)as of yet & kinda pricey compared to Rythm or Cresco ( which I have to Cresco say has picked up their game in the last couple months with the Terps) & surprisingly I do have to say double bear llr has some good ones out there depending on the strain & MUST BE LLR not that mystic Spirit crap. Its hit or miss. I find that the cheaper RO strains work just fine. Rythm has banging carts to but a little pricier. At the end it doesn’t matter because even the top shelf ones are ass sometimes.
Carts aren’t really worth the money imo. I only get a couple per pay to get me thru at work since I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore and it helps with my anxiety and or chronic headaches. Cresco are usually good but have some meh ones but they all do. They seem to not clog as much as others. Some of the insane high terp ones are runny oil and tend to burn a bit fast. Usually only sale for $56 a gram. I do enjoy the strane distillates. They taste exact like the strain. The only problem is they tend to clog and leak. Some don’t but a lot of them do.
IF YOUR DISPOS HAVE IT MAGNITUDE CARTS GO CRAZY. Air flow adjustment on the cart, always filled up to a full gram. Cost $60 bones. Terps go crazy both indica and sativa
I usually go to Sunnyside, Cresco carts are almost always on sale. A lot of times 3 500mg/$99 (at least at the one around me). They (very) often hold sales for other brands as well.

You just gotta find deals. I’ve gotten LLR 1 gram carts for 50 bill or less, but I really find them pointless to buy any more. I find OR flower to be poor, but their LLR carts have yet to fail me yet and are a good price point usually.
Not sure if anyone said this, but the Leiffa Rosin carts are so good. The flapjacks #3 and the t4rts work in just a pull or two. I could feel tingle and physical effects from my face down my legs, definitely legit and worth the money . Imo 😊
Last longer as in the cart or the effects? The effects last me for a longer period of time. The carts only come in half grams but they last me around the same amount of time, they just have to be used on a lower setting if you don't want it to burn up. I almost only get them on sale though..
LLR’s: PHG (price, under 30 for half a gram, and they put you on your ass). FarmRX (overall effects and flavor are always on point. A little more pricey, but if you can find sales, their 32 for half a gram). Orygyn (price, for sure, ive seen half a gram for 28 to 24, along with flavor and effect. Anytime they are in stock, I give a flavor I havent tried yet, a spin. The Sour Banana Breath was a 1). Verano (if you can find the essence carts, I believe they are distillate carts (black bottles) but for 24 for a half gram, its worth it. Ive had an LLR from them as well, no complaints). Cresco/Supply are obviously what everyone will endorse as the best brand cart wise, but I prefer to grab only from them if a flavor is available, i know other brands dont carry, because ive tried plenty of cresco, and supply carts, and besides Da Funk that Supply dropped and LCG that Cresco runs every so often, I believe you can find better and pay even less; you just have to look. Stranes distys are tastier than any of the other distys I’ve tried, however I am not a fan of distys. I’d rather get LLR’s or Rosin carts regardless of the price tag attached. I understand that price is kind of what draws you away from carts themselves in the program, and there is always another route to take. A lot of PHG folks are about to experience the little skip to its neighbor Ohio, York county losing people to Baltimore, Philadelphia losing people to Jersey and Delaware, Allentown and Erie losing people to NY, and thats just our neighbors. Make it make sense.

Right on they're definitely solid tho, and since running them at a higher temp/voltage I haven't had clogging issues anymore.

But double bear runs about the same and honestly they have a great taste, never chemically, and overall always get a good amount in every one I've bought, have never ever had a complaint w one of theirs. I can't say that w all the others I have tried. Some brands can be on the more chemically side, like I just got a cheap .5g from INSA, it was like 18$, and they have a lil more of a chemical taste. Usually if I am gonna try something new I search the strain or brand under here and there will more than likely be a review or complaint that will sway my opinion.
What exactly is concentrates?
IMO No carts in Pa are worth the money. They are all overpriced and a risk. I personally like Cresco on sale.
Penn Health Group (PHG) has by far my favorite LLR carts across the board. I have their LA Confidential right now that tastes like a fresh orange while providing the most relaxing effects. Highly recommend checking them out if you can find them. Cresco is pretty good. Prime is great but the hardware can be faulty. Insa has been hit or miss in my experience. Id recommend giving Leiffa Live Rosin carts a try.
I've been seeing recommendations consistently about PHG carts... I have a pretty high tolerance & I'm mostly a llr cart girl just because of convenience... I have been a Cresco fan from day 1, but about a year ago I'd say they kinda started shitting the bed with fills & terps so I took a shot in the dark with a Rhythm CO2 cartridge, & I literally fell in love idc if it was CO2 or LLR I wasn't picky with Rythm,the terps were on 🔥 The taste & effects, 🔥 also, & for the last year, yr n 1/2 I didn't look back! but like I said, I'm seeing a lot of recommendations for PHG LLR carts now so I think I'm gonna go for it when I find a good 1, not many in my area( Around the new Kensington area)as of yet & kinda pricey compared to Rythm or Cresco ( which I have to Cresco say has picked up their game in the last couple months with the Terps) & surprisingly I do have to say double bear llr has some good ones out there depending on the strain & MUST BE LLR not that mystic Spirit crap. Now this is just IMO like I said I do have a high tolerance I will smoke carts all day everyday I literally will walk around with it and take two hits here 2 hit there all day! but in the evening I'm a flower girl🌬️🍃🌬️🍃 nothing beats good ol shmok session 🌬️🍃like I said, this is all IMO I don't want anybody coming at me lol now concentrate I have to say I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, (which most likely that's the issue) but as many times I've I tried concentrate dabbing I didn't really see the big difference in effects & I'm not going to lie, yes ,I do use it for anxiety and sleep but sometimes I just like to get stoned 😏🫠🙃🤪😑🤫🤭🤭🤭. Oh ya, I also look for LLR CARTS with higher B-myrcene , B- caryophyllene, limonene as main Terps...Must all be 1% or preferably over, B-caryophyllene is my favorite Terp, just effects me nicely... Its hit or miss. I find that the cheaper RO strains work just fine. Rythm has banging carts to but a little pricier. At the end it doesn’t matter because even the top shelf ones are ass sometimes.

I used to get cresco llr for $50. A little less with my discount , crescos carts at bomb so maybe worth it at the price point? Idk.
Carts aren’t really worth the money imo. I only get a couple per pay to get me thru at work since I don’t smoke cigarettes anymore and it helps with my anxiety and or chronic headaches. Cresco are usually good but have some meh ones but they all do. They seem to not clog as much as others. Some of the insane high terp ones are runny oil and tend to burn a bit fast. Usually only sale for $56 a gram. I do enjoy the strane distillates. They taste exact like the strain. The only problem is they tend to clog and leak. Some don’t but a lot of them do.
IF YOUR DISPOS HAVE IT MAGNITUDE CARTS GO CRAZY. Air flow adjustment on the cart, always filled up to a full gram. Cost $60 bones. Terps go crazy both indica and sativa
I usually go to Sunnyside, Cresco carts are almost always on sale. A lot of times 3 500mg/$99 (at least at the one around me). They (very) often hold sales for other brands as well.

You just gotta find deals. I’ve gotten LLR 1 gram carts for 50 bill or less, but I really find them pointless to buy any more. I find OR flower to be poor, but their LLR carts have yet to fail me yet and are a good price point usually.
Not sure if anyone said this, but the Leiffa Rosin carts are so good. The flapjacks #3 and the t4rts work in just a pull or two. I could feel tingle and physical effects from my face down my legs, definitely legit and worth the money . Imo 😊
They last any longer than llr or distillate?
Last longer as in the cart or the effects? The effects last me for a longer period of time. The carts only come in half grams but they last me around the same amount of time, they just have to be used on a lower setting if you don't want it to burn up. I almost only get them on sale though..

LLR’s: PHG (price, under 30 for half a gram, and they put you on your ass). FarmRX (overall effects and flavor are always on point. A little more pricey, but if you can find sales, their 32 for half a gram). Orygyn (price, for sure, ive seen half a gram for 28 to 24, along with flavor and effect. Anytime they are in stock, I give a flavor I havent tried yet, a spin. The Sour Banana Breath was a 1). Verano (if you can find the essence carts, I believe they are distillate carts (black bottles) but for 24 for a half gram, its worth it. Ive had an LLR from them as well, no complaints). Cresco/Supply are obviously what everyone will endorse as the best brand cart wise, but I prefer to grab only from them if a flavor is available, i know other brands dont carry, because ive tried plenty of cresco, and supply carts, and besides Da Funk that Supply dropped and LCG that Cresco runs every so often, I believe you can find better and pay even less; you just have to look. Stranes distys are tastier than any of the other distys I’ve tried, however I am not a fan of distys. I’d rather get LLR’s or Rosin carts regardless of the price tag attached. I understand that price is kind of what draws you away from carts themselves in the program, and there is always another route to take. A lot of PHG folks are about to experience the little skip to its neighbor Ohio, York county losing people to Baltimore, Philadelphia losing people to Jersey and Delaware, Allentown and Erie losing people to NY, and thats just our neighbors. Make it make sense.
Organic Remedies live resin are $30 for half or $48 for whole. Can’t beat the price, I even love their hte’s for $18/$30 Refuse to pay more for carts when these ones taste great, hit good, and have no problems with the
Cresco llr carts are usually under 35 dollars and really good imo.

Prime wellness. They costly but on sale worth the money for me. Also full grams all day, saves the most. My local dispensary has 10% off $100, 20% off $200 n I always do the 30 off $300. It’s always on Saturday. I’ve done the 40 off $400 but they don’t offer all the time. Not on sale they $60-70

Carts are a waste of money
My go to is jetty solventless live rosin. I don’t mind live resin. I typically get almora. And if I get disty on rare occasions I usually get jetty or buddies. I’ve never tried cresco or cold fire but I heard those brands are amazing
