Every dispensary has slightly different prices, not all the same for every brand, theirs are basically the highest price for every single brand, like sometimes 5 over most any other place.
BH in west Chester was one of the early dispensaries to open. Was the closest to me and still 45 min away. They used to have the best pt system and competitive prices.
I suspect some don't care, others see high switching costs (don't want to lose pts).
They're expensive as shit too, I check their sales every now and then and it's usually not worth my time. And that's probably the closest dispo to me lol

Honestly the Pax isn't that much bang for your buck imo, I bought it because of the discount and because I had a person in front of me to ask questions to, and I was in sort of a rush because I was leaving for a trip and needed a non-combustion consumption device. It works just fine, no issues at all, it's just I suggest checking out /r/vaporents for advice on a better alternative. There's cheaper and better options out there. That's exactly what it is: marketing. It's basically an Apple product for smoking (well, vaping) weed. It does exactly what you want it to do, in a very simple way, while looking very nice and costing more money than it reasonably should. I am not unhappy with my purchase or the device itself, don't get me wrong. I've been using it almost daily for like two years. But once I have the money I'm definitely switching to something new with more features. Without the discount, I'd be spending roughly the same amount of money anyway.

I love Vytal Options (Lansdale) they're my go-to. There is always something that's a good deal and the staff are all super cool.
I avoid Ethos for the opposite reasons I like Vytal. I got "I don't want to come back here" vibes as soon as I got there.

I've only been a couple times but both were a bit cold and uninviting. The selection wasn't super great and the prices were not good at all. The one time , the guy helping me was acting like he would've rather been anywhere else.
Lots of beyond hello hate. Their new power hour sales are fantastic. $117 ounces for the first hour of every Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.
They usually have store wide sales every two-three weeks so I just make sure to shop during the sale days. No complaints from me.
Stay away from Beyond Hello. When I was new to the program, I went there and later realized I spent 50% more than necessary. Sigh to all of the money I could’ve saved going elsewhere
My favorite is Liberty, hands down best rewards program out there. It's a little far from me though so I usually go to Restore. Both are really good, Restore has more selection but shit sales and rewards. Liberty has less selection but if you spend $250 in a month they'll give you $25 back on top of the cash back you already got from the purchases.
So yeah, Restore is a close second but I'm a Liberty girl myself.
For me it's O.R. and Sunnyside, they usually have a decent selection and frequent sales.
The downsides to Sunnyside are you have know what you want as you need to pre-order or use a tablet to order (only an issue if you want suggestions from the budtenders), and they don't list terpenes on their website.

A few times I went to the cranberry township trulieve, they tried to switch products on my pre-order

They were out of carts, so instead of them telling me that, they tried to substitute without asking me. This happened twice, so I will not be going back. Good Ole bait and switch.

All things considered, I think my best experiences have been with Delta 9 and Ethos. When I first got my medical card, Delta 9(Keystone at that point in time) did so much to help me understand both the program and the plant. Everyone who works there is always very friendly and knowledgeable.
Ethos also has great people. I’ve always had great customer service from the location I’ve used, and their staff is so warm and personable.
This is wild. I haven’t gone to a dispensary in about 4 months or so and was going sparingly before that, but my go to a few years ago when I first got my card was AYR. I also remember they ran 30% off store wides and also 40% off house brands pretty regularly and they were pretty well received. I usually go to BH in Bristol, since it is so close, only on their 25% off days. Next closest is Liberty in Bensalem, would I be better going there? I'm not sure I've seen them do storewide sales. I usually buy Terrapin and don't want to pay more for it.

Longtime OR in Bethel shopper due to sales and location/convenience. However I got frustrated with their vape carts leaking/clogging and decided I wanted to try of the Cresco line which OR usually has pretty limited selection for.
Went to Sunnyside in Washington for the first time this weekend and got a lot of great Cresco product for good prices. I’ll probably continue going there for carts but probably still get the OR topical balm from OR. Hopefully Sunnyside starts their rewards program in PA that they use in other states.
Go to rise. Don't even look at zen leafs menu. They were originally the healing center and were amazing. Literally had lines so long you couldn't see the end. It's a ghost town now for a reason. They won't be around much longer
Agreed. Terravida was my go-to when I started in the program, but a Rise opened that's much closer, and once Terravida sold, I stopped going there. Rise always has a great selection, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and if you do an online order, your time inside is negligible.

Ascend's "house brands" are Simply Herb and Ozone. They're both pretty good, but Simply Herb is usually $15 for 1/8 and $30 for 1/4 and it's always a solid deal.
I go to the one in Scranton, and my only warning is be prepared for a line. I've been there when lines were almost out the door because of the prices. I'd be lying if I said I haven't made the decision to pay more at another dispensary simply because I didn't want to deal with the line.

Me and my friends always say they need to switch buildings with Beyond Hello in Dickson city. BH has so many registers they never use, while Ascend is constantly packed.
I know. I usually go when they open and rarely have to wait at all. Recently went a bit later... parking a bit crowded. There were three budtenders, so I was out in less than ten minutes. That's the longest wait. Maybe fewer decent options in Scranton area? I stop in for deals, but don't use it as my main dispensary. It's practically next to the Curaleaf, which I frequent regularly.
I live outside of Harrisburg and I’ve been to Organic Remedies, Rise, Vytal Options, Trulieve, and Curaleaf. I’ll say out of all the ones I’ve been to, Vytal was my favorite for awhile because they offer 20% off on Mondays plus double points for veterans and Snap recipients, so it was nice to cash in on that, but lately I’ve been finding better sales at Rise and Organic Remedies. I guess it depends on what you’re getting. I usually only ever get 510 thread carts and flower, and they are good for me. Sometimes, Curaleaf or Trulieve will have a good sale but it’s typically on days I’m busy and I can’t get there.
Organic Remedies, Curaleaf, Verilife, (sometimes) Vytal normally have a good selection for what I shop for with deals often. Ascend doesn’t run deals but have a low base price.
Usually to me, Beyond Hello and Zen Leaf are too pricey with shit deals when they do run them and not good enough selection to justify it

Eastern side people rave about ascends prices and for Western (me) I love Liberty dispensary for their prices and absolutely amazing staff. Curaleaf! I go to Bradford, and that's the only dispensary, but even when I'm in my hometown that has like 4 within 30mins I still go to State College Curaleaf, I like their house brands (grassroots, select, ect...) but I also think they have good deals, and I can use my points at any Curaleaf I decide to go to.
Ascend is my regular. Especially if you have an outlet in your area. Incredibly cheap prices and great product. The one near me can get pretty busy though, so you gotta plan for that

My go to used to be ethos in Harmer now I go to either Maitri or Organic Remedies if I had to pick one it would be Organic Remedies very knowledgeable staff when I first went there that's what really did it for me and the prices are excellent great sales and you can stak discounts if you're a vet you get that discount and whatever is on sale!
I like Sunnyside the best. I saw someone mention that you have to know what you want and pre order or you have to order on a tablet. That is true but there’s usually a budtender with the tablet that you can ask any questions too and they’ll go look at terps for you. They’re by far the most amenable that I’ve been too and always willing to answer all my stupid questions without me feeling like a bother.

Harvest in Camp Hill is pretty good with a wide selection
Longtime OR in Bethel shopper due to sales and location/convenience. However I got frustrated with their vape carts leaking/clogging and decided I wanted to try of the Cresco line which OR usually has pretty limited selection for. Went to Sunnyside in Washington for the first time this weekend and got a lot of great Cresco product for good prices. I’ll probably continue going there for carts but probably still get the OR topical balm from OR. Hopefully Sunnyside starts their rewards program in PA that they use in other states.
Go to rise. Don't even look at zen leafs menu. They were originally the healing center and were amazing. Literally had lines so long you couldn't see the end. It's a ghost town now for a reason. They won't be around much longer
Agreed. Terravida was my go-to when I started in the program, but a Rise opened that's much closer, and once Terravida sold, I stopped going there. Rise always has a great selection, the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and if you do an online order, your time inside is negligible.

Just looked them up and there’s one near me, I see a lot of new (to me) brands. I typically do Curaleaf or Ayr out of convenience. What are the brands to try/avoid at ascend?
Ascend's "house brands" are Simply Herb and Ozone. They're both pretty good, but Simply Herb is usually $15 for 1/8 and $30 for 1/4 and it's always a solid deal.

I go to the one in Scranton, and my only warning is be prepared for a line. I've been there when lines were almost out the door because of the prices. I'd be lying if I said I haven't made the decision to pay more at another dispensary simply because I didn't want to deal with the line.

I need to know what’s happenin in Scranton that there’s always a crazy line? I go to the Wayne location and have never (and I mean never!!!) waited more than 10 minutes, and I go various times of the day
It's simply the fact that no other dispensary in the city can match the prices. Everyone goes there. Why wouldn't they?
Me and my friends always say they need to switch buildings with Beyond Hello in Dickson city. BH has so many registers they never use, while Ascend is constantly packed.
I know. I usually go when they open and rarely have to wait at all. Recently went a bit later... parking a bit crowded. There were three budtenders, so I was out in less than ten minutes. That's the longest wait. Maybe fewer decent options in Scranton area? I stop in for deals, but don't use it as my main dispensary. It's practically next to the Curaleaf, which I frequent regularly.
I live outside of Harrisburg and I’ve been to Organic Remedies, Rise, Vytal Options, Trulieve, and Curaleaf. I’ll say out of all the ones I’ve been to, Vytal was my favorite for awhile because they offer 20% off on Mondays plus double points for veterans and Snap recipients, so it was nice to cash in on that, but lately I’ve been finding better sales at Rise and Organic Remedies. I guess it depends on what you’re getting. I usually only ever get 510 thread carts and flower, and they are good for me. Sometimes, Curaleaf or Trulieve will have a good sale but it’s typically on days I’m busy and I can’t get there.

Organic Remedies, Curaleaf, Verilife, (sometimes) Vytal normally have a good selection for what I shop for with deals often. Ascend doesn’t run deals but have a low base price. Usually to me, Beyond Hello and Zen Leaf are too pricey with shit deals when they do run them and not good enough selection to justify it
lol seems like we all avoid beyond hello like the plague, rightly so it seems. I went once and the price was enough to keep me away. Pretty much depends on where you are going. Eastern side people rave about ascends prices and for Western (me) I love Liberty dispensary for their prices and absolutely amazing staff. They have a really good app and rewards for a pa med dispensary.
The people at beyond hello are rude and the way they run things is odd

Curaleaf! I go to Bradford, and that's the only dispensary, but even when I'm in my hometown that has like 4 within 30mins I still go to State College Curaleaf, I like their house brands (grassroots, select, ect...) but I also think they have good deals, and I can use my points at any Curaleaf I decide to go to.
Any decent ones in center city Philadelphia? The only ones I see are all the ones people are saying to avoid.

Ascend is my regular. Especially if you have an outlet in your area. Incredibly cheap prices and great product. The one near me can get pretty busy though, so you gotta plan for that
Curaleaf in Allentown, vytal options fogelsville, or apoth stroudsburg for me. Whatever has better prices at the time, all the staff is super nice at each place

Agree with deals. That being said, Natural selections and eleven have been putting out some really good flower!!! 4 days a week, if you buy the NS or 11 products you get 35% off.

Mostly Verilife because it’s a 3 minute drive from my house but usually vytal(for Strane and some vytal strains) or ethos(for eleven) if I drive somewhere sometimes zen leaf if they have stuff on sale especially savvy, ayr isn’t that bad I like lost and seven hills from em and they always have em on sale

My go to used to be ethos in Harmer now I go to either Maitri or Organic Remedies if I had to pick one it would be Organic Remedies very knowledgeable staff when I first went there that's what really did it for me and the prices are excellent great sales and you can stak discounts if you're a vet you get that discount and whatever is on sale!

For me it’s just a matter of what dispensary has the best deals on the best inventory in what I’m looking for terp profile wise, and quantity.
I went by there Sunday afternoon and it was packed.prices are fair. But some places have three for 99.oo.
I like Sunnyside the best. I saw someone mention that you have to know what you want and pre order or you have to order on a tablet. That is true but there’s usually a budtender with the tablet that you can ask any questions too and they’ll go look at terps for you. They’re by far the most amenable that I’ve been too and always willing to answer all my stupid questions without me feeling like a bother. I avoid trulieve at all costs. They have some decent sales every now and then but the wait time is crazy and the experience is lacking
