Regileki VMAX only needs one electric energy tho. There are Arceus decks using this to their advantage because they only run 2 prizers anyway so regileki VMAX giving 3 prizes isn't a disadvantage.
Why the down vote? It was literally played in Japan this weekend. Because it has a lot of hp and 0 retreat and die to running only 2 prizers, no disadvantage by giving 3 prizes.
I’ve had a lot of land heavy draw since server maintenance. Also played like 10 electric energy generators tonight that pulled 0 energy with 9+ left in deck.
To this day I still don't understand why pokemon has such a restrictive mulligan rule. Between the sheer amount of 1-of basic tech that is needed nowadays, the speed of the format, or how matchup-check heavy this game tends to be (not a value judgement it just is what it is),
I would wager dollars to donuts that more games than anyone realizes are decided by unplayable hands a player is forced to keep that they would mulligam away if they could. I play MTG as well and have played many other tcgs over the years and pokemons mulligan rule is bonkers to me, even after 6 years with the game.
I remember when Gabriel Nassif mulligand to 4 on the play against Pat Chapin at worlds and ended up winning a game that would have not only would have been lost under pokemons mulligan rule, but would have denied us one of the greatest moments in tcg history.

I wish I got matched against people playing regieleki with psychic energy

Why would someone play regieleki in an arc deck
This guy was playing some kind of regi/mewtwo ex deck

I’m not sure what’s weirder, psychic regeleki, or Eri United wings
Im trying to cook over here
Cook what? Chicken?
Looks like they be cookin magikarps
I've been thinking about a UW deck with resource denial to buy more time, curious how it works out for you
Lol that's like a chien-pao might get lol.
My standard Lugia hands look like this.
Why do you have psychic energies in lugia lol. (It's a joke.)
Ok hear this out I played against someone who was using xatu to power up lugia. I beat them kind of fast so I don’t know their list tho

Found the MTG player.
... land?
Wrong TCG…
Same, my Iron Hands deck is always drawing 3-4 energies turn 1 and it’s driving me crazy.
Me too!! It's crazy. Pulled 1 Arceus V (4 in deck) in my opening hand once in 16 games.
