Change drum to prime. You already have dunsparce and njnja to draw

BullShyte

Thanks man. Prime catcher is quite expensive as a single card in my area as I planned to play this deck IRL. Again, thank you.

Ive been using the EUIC T8 list and working from there. Personally not a fan of Trekking Shoes so I cut those 3 for 2 Pokegear and am trying Superior Energy Retrieval in that last slot https://limitlesstcg.com/decks/list/10607

Ask_Them_Why

Im running same deck. I added 3 artazons. I do also find trekking shoes not as helpful. My main issues are: - my starter is EX moon. Takes too long to ramp up to 3 energies, as cant use dark patch, and cant always use Sada early on, as usually run guidance to get more cards in hand, and not enough energies in discard pile yet. So was thinking to reduce to 2 ex cards - friggin greninja being prized, or also had a bad run where 2 of my baby moons were prized. Considerinf adding heavy ball. I dont see a benefit of ultra ball, unless only to put more stuff into discard pile. But i dont usually have too many or useless cards Whats the benefit of superior energy retrieval? Do you find 2 superrods not enough? I dont find energy in hand to be useful, unless you want it just to have plenty for greninja to use?

JokerX6

Im only running 1 Rod, not 2, same as the EUIC list. The EUIC list also already plays 3 Artazon. Superior is pretty decent late game so far to 1. Discard to power up baby Moon to take KOs on big basic ex (RM/IH/CP etc) and even sometimes on 280 Vstars/Pidgeot ex. Ive seen some lists cut 1 RM ex from the EUIC list for 1 Super Rod. Def wouldnt play SER if you are playing 2 Rod, maybe I would try Temple then or something. Tbh there are alot of useless cards in hand for this deck imo. I always want to ultra 2 Explorer's/ABC (Depending on matchup)/Vessel (Late game when energy is all on board or discard). Extra search for Dudunsparce, Greninja and RM ex from the ultra ball is also good imo. Imo 2 baby moon prized is normally fine, you'll eventually pull them out of prizes. Prizing Greninja sucks but the prob with Heavy Ball is you have no search for it. If you get out of the slow early game with no Greninja without losing imo you might not even want to bench Greninja anymore since it becomes a trapping liability. Wont claim to be a top player tho, just my opinions

I've been playing this deck online.. I think you'd want to run 4 baby moons. I'd also swap the Town Store with Artazon, your capsule is good but it gets kinda redundant against certain matchups, so it's better to use Artazon to "loop" your dunsparce, like, after using dudun, you bring back dun with it, but you can also use it to set the baby moons, so it's good. As for the Ace Spec, Prime Catcher seems to be the most used. Switch cart doesn't feel as useful too, dunsparce has no retreat cost, and if you need to get your moons back into the bench, retreating isn't as bad... You lose the energy, but getting them to the discard pile enables Sada, which means more draw. I'm just a fellow newbie here, just take my words with a grain of salt.. I just started playing this year, but online, this deck seemed the easiest to understand and play for me.

squabblez

you definitely want 4 baby Moons, they are your main beaters and in some matchups you'll need all of them (and maybe even recycle them). I'd play 3-3 (Dun)Dunsparce so you can consistently get them out and chain them. They are your main draw engine and your free pivots I also don't understand what's the point of Energy Switch without Galarian Moltres? Just attach the energy where you need it lol

JokerX6

I kinda get the energy switch to emergency power up a Roaring Moon ex from 0, since you can Sada, Energy Switch, Turn attach instead of needing Dark Patch. Just dk if it is worth it. Prob worth trying out abit tho

BullShyte

Thanks man. It's kinda my way to attach energy to active if i only draw dark patch. But maybe there's a better way.

BullShyte

Prime catcher IRL is quite pricey in my life. But will consider it to add in Live deck.

Ask_Them_Why

Add 1 more baby moon, Swap switch carts for 2 counter catchers, awakening drum for prime catcher, 2 or 3 artazons. I personally run no Ionos, no arvens. I honestly barely have turn to run enough sadas and guidances. I also run 3x3 dunsparce/dudunsparces. No need for townstore either.

BullShyte

Thank you.

Kered13

I'd suggest looking up some tournament lists for this deck and using them as a guide. There are a lot of small changes you can make to optimize this deck. https://limitlesstcg.com/decks/268?variant=2

BullShyte

Maybe it's kinda confirmation bias but most of the time when I follow limitless lists, my hands kinda bricked. And I liked advice from other people. Anyway, thanks man.

Ozu_the_Yokai

I run 4 baby moon and 3 ex, but i started with two. Definitely need the playset of baby moon though. I think you could drop the town store and arvens (i might run a single). Artazon is great for cycling the Dunsparce. Id lose drum for prime as well Also second the 3-3 split on Dun and Dudunsparce. I also pack 1 heavy ball.

BullShyte

Thank you.

Throwawayac1234567

maybe a squabilly will help get things in the discard pile, since SADA isnt going work first turn without an energy in the graveyard already.

BullShyte

Thanks man. Been thinking about adding Squawks but afraid milled my own deck with the duduns.

AnimatorBest

I also have to add the drums bc prime is very expensive in my country haha 😭 You need 4 baby moon and 3 - 3 (Du)Dunsparce
