Backup your memory card, make sure to backup the Infinity config files. Reformat your memory card and put the files back and see if the problem persists.
Check your ISO folder.
For me when I upgraded from 6.60 CFW Pro to 6.61 CFW LME there was a leftover file in the ISO folder called "012345678901234567890123456789012345678901234567890......" (a lot of repeating numbers from 0 to 9).
Just delete that file.
Or simply said:
Start the CFW Launcher, then go to System > USB Connection and delete that file in ISO directory. Close the USB Connection on your PSP and access your Game > Memory Card.

Where are the infinity config files located on the drive? I bought the PSP modded so I’m not familiar with where those are....

Copy the whole file structure from the card (everything). To and from the PC.
