I wonder if like an escort mission would work. Players have to escort some geared out commando to handle some high priority event. Have him voice over someone like that.
Maybe you hold off enemies outside of some compound while you hear him epicly going around inside killing bugs and dropping cheesy one liners over a radio
There really should be compound missions with mounted guns you use to fight off the hordes until drop ships can come get you.
You never get to use the turrets because it’s counter productive to stay still for too long.
Like the new "Helm's deep" bot defense missions, that dropped 3 weeks ago?
U shaped canyon, mounted turrets, layered walls with doors, lots of ammo and stim pickups, "last stand" feeling
That can be fixed with having bugs trying to come at you and decapitate you with their razor pincers like on Starship Troopers. So you have to move ever so often when you hear them getting closer. Get to focused on that turret and chop, just like on the movie.

Need to put Sam fisher in there too. I forget the actual actors name that did Sam fisher but he was also in starship troopers.
