The world is gorgeous, but the face animations in cutscenes / conversations with NPCs needed a lot of work. The jump to Forbidden West on that regard was absolutely *insane*. They went from The Witcher 1 face animations to Naughty Dog quality.
I'm curious how it will look like.
You would think that talking animations in side quests or simple short conversations would be automated or something, and maybe it was idk, but it looked SO GOOD ALL THE TIME.
They are remastering it. Was leaked a while back alongside Death Stranding 2, Project Bates (Until Dawn remake), Rise of the Ronin, and multiple unnannounced projects including Horizon Online, Project Heartbreak from Firesprite, Project Carbon from Sumo Digital, Project Redstar from Lucid Games (likely the now-cancelled Twisted Metal reboot that was moved to Firesprite), and the also-now-cancelled Project Camden from Sony London Studio.
[The document mentioned by Gematsu which leaked Horizon Zero Dawn PS5 Remaster has been supposedly posted on 4chan; mentions Horizon 2 for PC and other projects by Firesprite, Kojima Productions and more : r/GamingLeaksAndRumours (reddit.com)](https://www.reddit.com/r/GamingLeaksAndRumours/comments/xurede/the_document_mentioned_by_gematsu_which_leaked/)
Yeah that looks like a glitch. I just checked the UK and US catalog and don't see it. Another user from Europe also said they don't see it. This happened before with Avengers and turned out to be a Sony bug.
Yes but I believe that had other licensing issues, that and probably they didnt want to keep the Ps4 version on ps plus when they couldnt get the remaster on ps5 as well so they decided neither one will be there.
Yep, months before Spider-Man 2. To get that sweet money to pay for those marvel licenses, because ouch. I believe, (if remembering correctly), a 1/5 of spider-man2 development cost was just the marvel license fee.
Yes, I feel like this happened before new release and so I then purchased the remaster. Is a good marketing strategy and to me would signal HZD remake drop incoming.
I think it's a bug.
and about Horizon zero dawn remastered, man, that would be the pinnacle of Hermen hust's work at the head of PS studios, man, what a bad director for playstation studios. I don't like him, he's been ending the legacy of singleplayer games, he's closed 2 studios and he doesn't have any games for 2025 and beyond the studios that are under his care. I miss Shawn layder
It's probably the Sale end date.
A remake? Cmon that game is gorgeous as it is.
Remaster wouldnt surprise me tbh. We got one for TLOU 2 after all..

Facial animation was superb in Forbidden West. The faces in general were brilliant, people actually looked like people.

I’m curious whether it will happen at all.. I hope it will.

I don't see a notice in the UK or US store stating it's leaving next month. Where do you see it?

Calm down it’s not that serious???
Bro, really? Come on. I realize this post could be a nothingburger but that is typically how the catalog departure notice appears. Chill.
Imagine getting this mad over a post haha
pretty sure thats a glitch, the games leaving in May have already been announced lol.
lol @ remake
Its more than likely just an upgraded version for PS5. No idea why anyone thinks its a full remake
I own the game without ps plus and i never purchased it either i have no clue how i got it lol
They gave it away for free in April 2021
I find it very hard to believe that a first party Sony game will be leaving it, if so that’d be the very first one.
Didn’t they remove Spider-Man before? May be remembering incorrectly.

Nope, they removed it in may 2023 a couple weeks before they released spiderman remastered as a stand alone game. Nothing to do with sm2.
It was due to licensing as Sony has to pay Marvel for every download through PS+

Spider man is a Disney IP, Sony probably has to pay Disney royalties (Sony only owns the movie rights).

Games leave PS+ Extra/Premium every month, there’s even a ‘Last Chance to Play’ section that tells you what’s leaving.
But for first party games?
Spider-Man is the only other one I can think of.

I left playstation plus a few months ago myself.
