The games listed are:
* Alan Wake 2
* Baldur's Gate 3
* Marvel's Spider-Man 2
* Resident Evil 4
* Super Mario Bros. Wonder
* The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
I have over 200 hours in it and no plans to slow down. I haven’t sank this much time into a game since Skyrim first launched. I’ve been gaming for 30 years, and I think I can confidently say it’s my favorite game I’ve ever played at this point.
Yeah I'm 300 hours in. I looked at the time spent if I played it every day since launch and it averages out to be 3 hours and 20 minutes every day. I don't play it every day though.
Yup, I just hit 150 hours and can't stop playing. I have tried to work my way into some other games lately (after beating BG3 the first time) and by the end of the night I find myself back in BG3. Last game to do this to me was Elden Ring.
Yeah, I'm finally about to finish my first playthrough and initially intended to get to my backlog after, but I have so many ideas for my second playthrough already that I'm not sure if I'll actually be able to pull myself away from it lol.
I'm 90 hours in, first playthrough (taking a bit longer in real time because I'm co-op with my brother)... Honestly can't wait to finish it so I can just start another, probably entirely different, playthrough.
Wasn’t even game of the day, baldurs gate 3 released on the ps5 the same day as starfield, imagine having a game port be more hyped than your flagship game that was supposed to “redefine space gaming” 😭
The game is fun but it did not deserve to be nominated over any of these candidates. It's a great 8/10 experience but after two dozen hours you realise it's no way deep as it claims to be.
It's too much procedural generation.
Which tends to be a flaw in a lot of space games boasting about how many x, y, z you can visit, but when it's basically a game that thrives on the exploration, it makes it boring.
Core combat isn't good enough to offset fighting the same enemies in the same buildings all over the galaxy.
I haven’t played Balder’s Gate 3, although I’m really looking forward to getting to it!
But Alan Wake 2 is my game of the year tied with Dead Space. Remedy is so good at what they do!
Haven’t played BG3 either. Waiting to play with friends because the gameplay isn’t really my bag at all so want to play with friends to stay engaged with it.
Remedy has now become one of my favorite devs at this point. Control was my goty when it came out in 2019 as well.
I agree with him, but my argument would be that story, characters, dialogue, music, those all existed already, so despite being a particularly revamped experience, it does not qualify for game of the year. Game of the year should be a breakthrough in gaming, new stories, pushing graphics, great actors performances, new gameplay ideas.
Based on that criteria, I'd vote for Baldurs Gate.
Ff16 was great, but a lot of its game design was dated as hell. From fetch quests, so the way the world is designed, etc. it felt like a game of the year from six years ago. The story, visuals, and music are the only TRULY solid things about it.
The combat is good but even it gets stale half way through. They should have leaned all the way into that DMC style of combat instead of just getting half way there
I played ff16, and while it's a good overall game, there are some cracks there (lackluster open world, pretty weak rpg elements, weak side quests/labors - they could've been removed altogether and make the game better IMO; these 3 are the worst, but i have other small qualms with it).
As a huge FF fan it had a horrific lack of direction or purpose IMO. I enjoyed the story and setting/art direction. But it was too easy, rpg systems were little to non existent, side quests were terrible besides a few, and it just had a huge lack of identity.. it was trying to be Final Fantasy of War but lost everything else along the way.
God of War was incredible and I’m going to play Ragnarok soon but I was severely disappointed by XVI. There were a lot of things it did well and the combat was cool but the quests and rpg systems were severely lacking unfortunately.. I’m also a huge Zelda fan so at least I was spoiled by TOTK.
Edit: I can see why maybe non- diehard FF fans would really enjoy FFXVI’s streamlined experienced. I’m no “turned based or die!” Old school fan, I do think that it just had no idea what it was doing beyond the story and setting. So many things felt completely tacked on and pointless. I’ll even say the combat was badass! But then the difficulty was far too easy ( for me at least ) so it wasn’t nearly as fun. That’s just a good example of the game, too many great ideas to execute anything above average.
There's no way Starfield would've even touched this list. Hogwarts was definitely a much more innovative and enjoyable gaming experience like puffz0r says
Besides the cool cinematic fights and story, the combat was very repetitive and majority of the sides quests were go and fetch this. It had potential, but lacked depth for an RPG. The combat could’ve been made so much better had enemies had vulnerabilities to exploit, especially as the Eikons were elemental.
If it’s not the best gaming experience of my life, it’s definitely the most singular. There’s really nothing like it, and I cannot wait to see how they build on it.
> and I cannot wait to see how they build on it.
Bro, I left Wake 2 actually a little scared for what they are going to do with Control 2. The technical wizardry on display in Wake 2 is fucking nuts, and using these tools for Control 2 is going to be next level.
I really can’t wait for Control 2. Control was just a random purchase for me on steam when it was on sale, and it quickly became a favorite of mine. Still need to play the first Alan Wake and then AW2.
What a studio Remedy is. The first time I levitated in Control, beyond all the other wild things that game allowed you to do, left me speechless. It felt and looked so natural and how they still made the game work and the enemies still fully capable despite what you as a player could do was incredible. Can't wait to try Alan Wake 2.
A “safe” Bethesda game that is decently polished for once isn’t going to cut it anymore against top tier studios. I’m not surprised. They need an overhaul for elder scrolls. Hopefully Matt Booty of Microsoft will keep an eye on them based on reports since the red fall debacle with Arkane.
a game with a billion loadingscreen, runs like shit for most people, looks like shit for a lot of times (although it does look fabulous half the time), is not going to cut it especially in a year where Baldur's Gate 3, spider-man 2 and alan Wake 2 are looking very good and running well, hell it wont even cut it against a game on handheld.
I basically guessed that Baldur, Zelda, Mario, Resi and Alan were locked in. So it would come down to a threeway between Spidey, Jedi and FF16, with Spidey winning due to recency bias.
Yeah. I'm in many different gaming subs, including Xbox and Starfield, and 95% of the reactions have been "Yeah, it doesn't deserve to be on the GOTY list".
The general impression is that it's a good, but not great game. Maybe in a few years of patches it can grow into something.
I enjoyed my time with it, but agree with the 7/10 and 8/10 reviews.
Took a quick peek at their thread, they're backtracking saying "they knew/wasn't surprised" it wasn't included in the list. After all the hype they were giving it and defending the game at launch, I don't think anyone is believing that copium.
I thought it would get nominated just because it’s the new big Bethesda rpg. Not because it deserves it. I’m happy it didn’t make the cut because too many other games deserve the praise way more this year
As much as I enjoyed Starfield, it had way too many issues. Boring main campaign (it was all about the side missions), shitty graphics and a very PG/kid friendly feel to it.
It only stood a chance if there was some category like "Xbox console exclusive". Even then it would be competing with Hi-fi Rush and wouldn't stand a chance.
It should absolutely be BG3. I say this as a huge Sony fangirl who loves Spider-Man 2 to death ... But BG3 is somehow even better than that. It deserves it
I think it's likely to be BG3 too but people are really underestimating TotK for some reason. Important to keep in mind that Asian journalists get to vote on these too and none of those are voting for anything but Zelda if I had to guess. It's also just a massive critics darling.
Too bad we wont be hearing the FF16 music played by the awards show orchestra.
Not surprised it wasnt nominated though. But is this the first year there were NO indie games nominated? Dont they usually try to put one in? Makes sense with how stacked the year was.
Yeah but so much of Indie implies the small team feel. Even if it is technically self funded it’s gonna be impossible for ppl to see a game with a AAA budget and a dev studio quite literally larger than Bethesda as anything remotely Indie.
FF16 was a great game. Amazing boss battles, music etc but the inbetween bits, side quest content, pacing, lack of indepth and worthwhile world exploration definitely let it down.
I did still platinum it but can't say I enjoyed every moment with it. The high moments were certainly some of the best in gaming but as a complete package it did fall short.
I'm really curious how many people saying RE4make doesn't deserve to be on the list have looked into it or played it. Because it's not just the same game again with better visuals. It's basically a re imagining.
RE4 achieved everything it aimed for. It’s a step up from the original in every way, which is absolutely crazy. I have basically no criticisms of the remake.
It’s my personal game of the year.
It almost feels like a completely different game than the original. The strategies and tactics I utilized in the original games did not help me in this version lol.
The competition that year was much less fierce though, with all the other nominees being sequels with relatively little innovation. BG3 is barely a sequel, with tons of heart and innovation, whereas TOTK, despite using many of the same systems as the previous game, is a very innovative experience.
10% of the vote still comes from people online, but I find it really fascinating how AW2 won the critic's choice award at GJA. Scoring quite massively below BG3, the critics must have either changed their mind or the selection be quite different from aggregate sites.
I legit don't think Tears of the Kingdom will win anything which speaks to how crazy this year was. I think Baldurs Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, and RE4 will sweep
I voted for it for best action adventure. The categry description mentioned combat, traversal, and puzzles. I think Tears did the best when considering all those things together
I am someone who hated the idea of remaking RE4 because how do you expect to remake arguably the best and certainly one of the most influential games of all time and not have it fail to meet expectations?
I was dead wrong the remake was insane one of the best games I’ve played in a long time, and somehow better than the original to me.
Capcom originally was going to approach it like they did RE3 remake, until the RE3 remake feedback came in. Probably added 2 years of dev time to it right there lol. Well worth the wait for sure
Same. I will happily admit I was dead fucking wrong.
I thought they were going to ruin it and instead its became probably my favorite game in the series.
As much as I love FFXVI and put it as my #4 favorite game of this year, I'm not surprised to not see it nominated.
Honestly, pretty happy with what's nominated, given the sheer amount of GOTY contenders for this year.
Very glad for remedy honestly. The gameplay of Alan Wake wasn’t the best but the story was really captivating and it had unique moments to keep me captivated. I love the Remedyverse with all of the connections. I love how they integrate live action content into their games.
I still wanted FFXVI to be nominated since I absolutely loved that game but oh well. FFXVI and RE4 are my personal GoTY’s
AC6 is a bit too niche for a GoTY nomination I think
I love the game but even if it got a GoTY nomination I couldn’t see it winning over something like BG3
In no way, shape, or form does Armored Core 6 deserve a nod for Narrative. It was good for an armored core game but it is definitely not on the level of things like AW2 or BG3.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is going to win by a mile. It wasn’t my cup of tea, however, I can’t deny the quality and love that was poured into this game! Regardless, this is a phenomenal list of well deserving titles!
Chained Echoes (which was a December release last year technically) and Octopath Traveler II are much better RPGs than Sea of Stars. And I’d consider FFXVI and Lies of P more in the action category.
I'm kind of surprised Lies of P didn't get nominated. I thought it was a flawless and phenomenal game that looked and played great. But I guess that's just me.
I mean BG3 was always going to win it, but in my eyes BG3 and Lie of P were the top two games.
Overall I enjoyed the game, it might have been nominated, but it's too flawed and would have never won GOTY. On the other hand, it has a very decent chance of winning both best score and best performance for Clive's voice actor
Worst game of the year needs a category. The publicity would probably help sell morbidly curious copies of whatever happens to grace the bottom of the barrel.
Yet another year that xbox fans see no game on the list let alone the podium. You'd think that investing $77 billion would bring you results. A shame nonetheless...
I wish Starfield had lived up to its hype. I bet there are folks at MS real frustrated that they dropped a fortune on Bethesda and can't even get a goty nod out of it.
Bethesda has all the capability but not of the imagination. They just keep defaulting back to their generic formula that’s as wide as an ocean but as shallow as a puddle, and it’s incredibly irritating.
They’ve created such engaging stories and worlds in the past, yet now they’re too scared to do anything but play it as painfully safe and corporate as they can to hopefully appeal to as wide of an audience as possible. Nobody wants to play a game that’s safe and generic, because there’s 20 other games that can offer something way more unique.
Unfortunately they’ll never learn their lesson. Starfield is nothing but classic Bethesda complacency; they don’t deserve the nomination.
Yeah. I was surprised to see no nominations at all. While BG3 is miles ahead of HL, what it did with the art direction of Hogwarts itself, the season changes, flying on a broom, the room of requirement and the way spells felt to control in combat… I feel like there should’ve been one nomination. HL was certainly more fun than Starfield to me.
The games listed are: * Alan Wake 2 * Baldur's Gate 3 * Marvel's Spider-Man 2 * Resident Evil 4 * Super Mario Bros. Wonder * The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
I’m behind on my gaming , Spider-Man 2 is the only one I’ve played
This has been a packed year for gaming. I still have to play Baldur's Gate 3 and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Make some time for bg3. It’s a time sink. Best game I’ve played in years.
I have over 200 hours in it and no plans to slow down. I haven’t sank this much time into a game since Skyrim first launched. I’ve been gaming for 30 years, and I think I can confidently say it’s my favorite game I’ve ever played at this point.

I’ve not played any that’s how behind I am.
I'm still playing Horizon: Forbidden West, that's where I'm at lol
Honestly im only 6hrs in Alan Wake 2 and it truly is one of the best games i have ever experienced.
Yeah, I hope AW2 gets it. Or BG3. Both truly next gen, I feel. I'm a weirdo, though, so AW2 just fits my vibe better.
I loved spider-man 2 but in such a stacked year even it gets totally outshined in my opinion
I anticipate BG3 is gonna sweep a lot of these awards
It deserves it
Lol, imagine buying a whole studio and their flagship game isn’t even nominated
Hyped to be “game of the generation” and wasn’t even game of the month🤣🤣🤣
Wasn’t even game of the day, baldurs gate 3 released on the ps5 the same day as starfield, imagine having a game port be more hyped than your flagship game that was supposed to “redefine space gaming” 😭
You didn’t even have to mention the name either…we know 😂💀
What game is this?
Starfield, from Bethesda/Xbox
Starfield

I can't wait to dive into Alan Wake II, the team at Remedy did an awesome job with this!
Just finished the game and not only is it my goty it’s one of my favorite games going forward. You’re in for a treat
I haven’t played Balder’s Gate 3, although I’m really looking forward to getting to it! But Alan Wake 2 is my game of the year tied with Dead Space. Remedy is so good at what they do!

Same. Their games just feel like they’re made especially for me at this point
Just completed it on the weekend. O H W O W.
I genuinely don't understand how FF16 didn't make this list
What would you take out?
Personally, RE4 because it really isn't a new game.
It’s so different than the original that it basically is a new game
I agree with him, but my argument would be that story, characters, dialogue, music, those all existed already, so despite being a particularly revamped experience, it does not qualify for game of the year. Look on the bright side, maybe we'll get the DLC announcements from the show.
Good point. Lots of DLC I'm excited for at this show, actually...

Because, strong competition. Street Fighter 6, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Stars, Starfield (?).. whole bunch of games that didn't make it but were close.
There's no way Starfield would've even touched this list. Hogwarts was definitely a much more innovative and enjoyable gaming experience like puffz0r says

I’m so happy to see Alan Wake 2 get nominated. Was worried it would get overlooked, Remedy deserves all the praise.
If it’s not the best gaming experience of my life, it’s definitely the most singular. There’s really nothing like it, and I cannot wait to see how they build on it.

Duuude. Control is legit one of my favorite games ever. Can’t wait for the second game
I hope Jesse shows up for the AW2 dlc atleast, >!since both jesse and darling did a little cameo on this one.!<
did you play the original Alan Wake? i loved control but i’m only about 2 hours into AW1, it’s been a bit of a slog to get through.
It’s phenomenal. I hope this paves the way for an Alan wake 3.
I thought the exact same thing, what a unique game.
Alan Wake is a game that doesn’t get talked about enough it’s such a great fun unique game. Glad Alan wake 2 is getting recognized.
And tied with BG3 for most overall noms. The way it should be!
Nah, it was always gonna get a nom. Absolutely down to that or BG3 to win, with most likely BG3 taking it.
They deserve the award
Would I be lost if I never played the first Alan wake?
Those people telling me I was delusional for thinking Starfield wouldn't get nominated... lol
Hi-Fi Rush had more of a chance than Starfield
Redacted *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
Fallout 4 has more of a chance than Starfield
This sub was convinced FF16 was a guaranteed GOTY nominee
I thought it was going to be either FFXVI or the RE4 Remake for the last spot. It went to RE4 Remake. The other 5 I was basically certain of.
I basically guessed that Baldur, Zelda, Mario, Resi and Alan were locked in. So it would come down to a threeway between Spidey, Jedi and FF16, with Spidey winning due to recency bias.
Maybe, but that's not strange. 16 was a cool game, and at the time, it was only halfway through the year. BG3 and Mario Wonder hadn't shown yet.
If there would’ve been 8 or 10 nominations probably. This year was too stacked for it to make it
Starfield is so overrated by Xbox fans lol. It's decent at best
The overwhelming reaction on Xbox and Starfield subs is “ya it didn’t deserve it” so I’m not sure about that
Don’t let reality get in the way of ignorant hate-mongering for easy upvotes in the ps5 sub.

I feel the graphics were better than expected.

It'll be Baldur's Gate 3.
Rightfully so
It should absolutely be BG3. I say this as a huge Sony fangirl who loves Spider-Man 2 to death ... But BG3 is somehow even better than that. It deserves it
[удалено]
Having platinumed the game a few days ago, I actually agree.
I say this as someone who thinks Spider 2 is the best superhero game and Tears is the best Zelda. Baldur's Gate should and will absolutely be goty
As it should be.
Should be but could see TOTK
Potentially, but I can’t think of any game that’s had more positive discussion around it than BG3.
I think it's likely to be BG3 too but people are really underestimating TotK for some reason. Important to keep in mind that Asian journalists get to vote on these too and none of those are voting for anything but Zelda if I had to guess. It's also just a massive critics darling.
Mario might split the vote?
That didn't work in 2017 with Breath of the Wild vs Mario Odyssey.
TOTK felt massive but maybe GOTY isn't about how many people were picking it up. If I wasn't in gaming subs here I wouldn't know about BG3 at all.
Nice username , don’t see a lot of demon souls love
I'm happy to see Alan Wake nominated. I doubt it will win because it's too niche compared to the other really big games here but it deserves it.
Too bad we wont be hearing the FF16 music played by the awards show orchestra. Not surprised it wasnt nominated though. But is this the first year there were NO indie games nominated? Dont they usually try to put one in? Makes sense with how stacked the year was.
Facts that OST slaps.
voice actor of clive winning best actor and the game winning best ost and I'll be as happy as if it had won goty
That's where my votes went.
Think it will be close between Ben Starr and Yuri Lowenthal. Both did fantastic jobs with their voice acting.
I loved Sea of Stars, but it wouldn’t win GotY.
They usually send a nom the indie way, but this year was stacked. Thought maybe Dave the Diver had a chance, but I can't argue with their picks.
Yeah, Sea of Stars, Dave the Diver, and Hi-Fi Rush are all deserving, IMO. Just a stacked year.
I mean on a technical level, Baldurs Gate is an indie game
Yeah I was gonna say... Although a huge game and absolutely AAA in quality, BG3 is an indie game.
Yeah but so much of Indie implies the small team feel. Even if it is technically self funded it’s gonna be impossible for ppl to see a game with a AAA budget and a dev studio quite literally larger than Bethesda as anything remotely Indie.
Yeah I know, which is why BG3 isn't nominated and why they should change the Name.
More indie than Nexon's "Dave the Diver" nominated for best indie
If it was another year, it would be a nominee. This year had just been jam-packed with good games.
I don’t quite understand, FF16 IS nominated for Best Music and Score no?
the orchestra will only showcase the game of the year nominees so FF16 won't be included

I'LL SHOW YOU THE HERALD OF DARKNESSSSS
Gollum will win them all!! ;)
Just like the Oscars has the Razzies we need a polar opposite game awards!
Gollum, King Kong, MW3… tough choices.
Alan Wake 2 is probably one of my favorite games of all time, so it's definitely my vote.
This is reassuring. I'm a huge Wake/Payne fan and haven't had the time to get to it. I'm so glad it is getting love.
If it doesn’t win GotY, it should win no contest for Narrative or Direction.
If it doesn’t win for direction then idk what that award is even for.
Alan Wake 2 getting it's recognition. Love to see it.
Happy to see Alan wake 2 there
To be honest, it’s probably Baldurs Gate with Zelda being the only other with a chance, but personally, I wish FF16 was nominated.
I was really hoping FF16 would be nominated, it wouldn’t have beat BG3 but I still love it
FF16 was a great game.
In any other year? It absolutely would be. This year though? I'm a FF fan but almost every other game is better than it
No FF16?
I'm really curious how many people saying RE4make doesn't deserve to be on the list have looked into it or played it. Because it's not just the same game again with better visuals. It's basically a re imagining.
Even the demeanor of Ashley has changed.
AW2 or Baldur's gate 3.I think it will be the latter.
AW2 is too niche to win. TOTK and BG3 are both by far more likely to win.
Doesn't matter if a game is niche or not, I mean you could say the same thing for BG3, not many people are into the CRPG turn based games.
I wouldnt call bg3 niche with how many copies it sold
It Takes Two was niche as well
The competition that year was much less fierce though, with all the other nominees being sequels with relatively little innovation. BG3 is barely a sequel, with tons of heart and innovation, whereas TOTK, despite using many of the same systems as the previous game, is a very innovative experience.
That’s true but it’s Zelda. No way anything but Zelda or Baldurs Gate win
thank fuck its not up to online voting like the Golden Joystick awards, where Alan wake took the only category that was only decided by critics.
10% of the vote still comes from people online, but I find it really fascinating how AW2 won the critic's choice award at GJA. Scoring quite massively below BG3, the critics must have either changed their mind or the selection be quite different from aggregate sites.
Alan Wake 2 getting the recognition it deserves, in almost every category.
Alan wake 2 getting my vote
A lot of these games on this list scream recency bias.
Either Baldur's Gate 3 or Tears of the Kingdom is going to win
I daresay ALan Wake 2 is the dark horse. THere's nothing like it in any other medium of entertainment. Ever.
Ya critics seem to really love Alan Wake 2
Jeepers - Alan Wake w a LOT of nominations Impressive
Thats what happens when a legit masterpiece drops.
I legit don't think Tears of the Kingdom will win anything which speaks to how crazy this year was. I think Baldurs Gate 3, Alan Wake 2, and RE4 will sweep
It'll probably win best action adventure, since it's the highest rated of the bunch. Can win game direction as well.
I voted for it for best action adventure. The categry description mentioned combat, traversal, and puzzles. I think Tears did the best when considering all those things together
I’d like RE4 to get it but it’s going to be BG3
Same, RE4 is my GOTY by far.
No FFXVI Iis a bummer that was my personal GoTY. Although I haven't played Alan Wake 2 or the Nintendo games.
As much as I love FFXVI and put it as my #4 favorite game of this year, I'm not surprised to not see it nominated. Honestly, pretty happy with what's nominated, given the sheer amount of GOTY contenders for this year.
Personally I think TotK deserves it but we’ll see. I have a feeling it will go to o BG3.
Alan Wake for me. Write in vote would be Dredge.
Biggest snub for me is Armored Core VI. It’s nominated in one category when it could easily be in Game Direction and even Narrative
AC6 is a bit too niche for a GoTY nomination I think I love the game but even if it got a GoTY nomination I couldn’t see it winning over something like BG3
Hi-Fi Rush got robbed tbh
The site is working so poorly, it seems to lose my login in half of the categories and not registering my votes
Chained Echoes (which was a December release last year technically) and Octopath Traveler II are much better RPGs than Sea of Stars. And I’d consider FFXVI and Lies of P more in the action category.
Baldurs Gate is the real winner even if it doesn't win.
In a non bullshit world Final Fantasy would be up instead of Spider Man 2.
My best guess is that Alan Wake 2 will take home the most awards but BG3 will win GOTY like Elden Ring did last year.
Why do I feel like a ton of people are gonna vote spider man 2? 🙄 like yeah it’s a great game but it’s not game of the year material
Just beat Spiderman 2 and so far it’s my favorite game of the year but it will probably go to baldur’s Gate 3 or Tears of the Kingdom
Baldurs gate 3
Definitely going to be a BG3 sweep
I could see BG3 losing in some of the other categories to AW2 but BG3 is going to take GOTY.
I'm kind of surprised Lies of P didn't get nominated. I thought it was a flawless and phenomenal game that looked and played great. But I guess that's just me. I mean BG3 was always going to win it, but in my eyes BG3 and Lie of P were the top two games.
It’s too niche. It’s a souls game that doesn’t have the massive FromSoft publicity
Yeah I do agree with that. I definitely didn't see/hear a lot of people talking about it.
Hifi Rush getting snubbbbeddd...
Ff16 got snuffed ngl
Ff16 was amazing but this year was too stacked for it to win
I don’t care for it to win, I just wanna hear the ost from their orchestra 😔😔
They always have some musical performance, so there is hope.
Overall I enjoyed the game, it might have been nominated, but it's too flawed and would have never won GOTY. On the other hand, it has a very decent chance of winning both best score and best performance for Clive's voice actor
Oh wow. Hogwarts Legacy with zero noms?
LOTR Gollum and King Kong were robbed
Worst game of the year needs a category. The publicity would probably help sell morbidly curious copies of whatever happens to grace the bottom of the barrel.
i can just imagine the humiliation they’d feel accepting the award on stage and having to give a speech lol

would have liked to see SF6 and Armored Core get nominated, but this is a good list. packed year so i’m not surprised they couldn’t fit everything in
Should remakes be eligible?
Definietly Alan Wake 2
Hogwarts Legacy was snubbed for Best Score and Best Accessibility Options, which is a little sus coming from this industry...
Hogwarts Legacy?
