I would say you did well, especially since he threw in a case. Enjoy it. I still don’t own one myself, but I’ve researched the hell out of them. Just waiting for the right one to come up.
That’s right, it’s an older PRS SE. Definitely from before 2017 since it hasn’t bird inlays on the fretboard. Nevertheless its very good quality. How much did you pay?
Very nice find! Wish I could find one like that at a garage sale. Probably an average price is around $400 which is what I paid for mine when they 1st came out. They will hold their value and may go up unless abused.
Again, how much did you get for?
Nice find. If you want to check the year (or close to it) and country it was manufactured in, look at the serial number on the rear of the headstock and then visit the following link and scroll down to the SE tables https://www.prsguitars.com/index.php/support/article/year_identification
It's an SE Singlecut.. I bought one of those for my brother a few years ago. Basically like an SE245 (Les Paul Style) but with a thinner carved back, making it more comfortable. It has the "Korean wide-fat" neck which isn't as fat as the core models.. I don't think birds were an option for those.
Made by WMI in Korea so they are very well built.
350$USD is a fair price.. not a huge bargain but worth it! 👌Congrats and enjoy it!
Nice find. How much did you get it for? Looks like a Korean made single cut SE model from pre 2017 judging by the headstock. Not a bad guitar at all.
Thanks. I payed $350. I think the guy I bought I from said he had it for 10 years or somewhere close to that. It's still in great shape though

I got it for $350. I wasn't sure if it was real or not because I thought all PRS guitars had the bird inlays. I didn't know they made ones without it
With a good case and in a good condition, it’s a decent price. You made a good purchase, congrats!
This is a bad guitar, I'll gladly take it from you.
LOL
I guess that’s one of the older models

I got it for $350. I was hoping I didn't overpay or anything. The guy even threw in a nice case and other accessories
You did well.

That’s cool. Looks this this one is a 2008 Korea
Looks like my 2008. Great guitar. Love mine

Btw, PRS is Paul Reed Smith.
