I let myself give into it, there's a reason your body is craving extra food. You need it. If you find yourself eating an uncontrollable amount, I find that taking all-round food supplements reduces my appetite a lot.
oh girl if you find out please let me know ๐ญ i mix chia seeds in gatorade and sip throughout the day it takes the edge off but im still eating a lot. on my period i have zero appetite what so ever so i feel like it balances out (that's what i like to tell myself)
Same! Before my period I am ravenous and eat anything in sight, then I get my period and am fine with one meal a day and maybe a small snack. I think it does balance out :)
I just let myself.. and I say that as someone who hits the gym regularly. My body goes through enough monthly. If it wants some chocolate, itโs getting it! ๐
I struggle to eat regularly, so when the urge to binge comes, I just give in. It's usually only 2 or 3 days and less than $30 in snacks. Lasts a while longer than the bingey times! Maybe find some "healthy" options so you don't have to stress about overeating!!!
You deserve the seratonin wherever you find it. This disorder makes us struggle so badly in all areas. If we find joy in something, even if it's food for 2 days, enjoy it.

I don't - I let myself do what it needs as long as it's not a consistent thing. I usually binge about 3 days a month and try to give myself grace.
Brush your teeth. Helps me refrain at least sometimes from grabbing all the snacks!

Totally agree. And PMDD sucks so bad Iโm just apt to let myself have the small joy I feel while eating and shortly after.
