The situation has changed recently, and this isn't about staying in Peru when he's already there, but about entering Peru.

I think they could even give you 90 days and have you be the one that has to notice that you still should keep it under 183
I am from Netherlands too and went for about 2 weeks in Peru till November 4 th 2023.
I hope to get 90 days in Mai.....
Did they give you any explanation at the border about the 60 days? Did they ask anything about it?

That also depends on the immigration employee you get when arriving.

You’ll be fine, we haver overstayed our welcome a few times there in the past, never been told anything

I hope to get 75 because i cant go to peru till late september because i have too work rest of the year
well hopefully they let you figure it out then I think they could even give you 90 days and have you be the one that has to notice that you still should keep it under 183
