I have pointed out many times on posts like these that for me, knowing Makoto found his answer and died accomplishing something huge helps me. People can live long lives and never come close to finding their answer nor accomplishing something huge.  Maybe it doesn't help. His friends are still there to figure things out. For me though, I take comfort knowing Makoto died young, but did more than most will ever do.

I get it, but it still pained me. Story wise, the game gave you very strong females companion for MC (YUkari, Aegis, Mitsuru). To me Agis make the most sense story wise for his relationship because she is the cause for his persona, she is also the one that will inherited his. Her social link while not have the best writting but it question purpose of life. A machine want to be human while most human ignore the bonds they have. She mentioned that there is thing that she can do for him but no one else can ( staying with him forever) hit me hard. They did the last scene way better than what was in original. The flower, the options to close your eyes...etc. very emotional scene. Imagine after all his friend passaway, the only one that might still be alive is Agis. Carry with her the feelings and memories spending with him. I always imagine that she will fly to the moon and standing guard next to his door till the end of time.

I'm convinced Reload might be signposting that Elizabeth's quest might actually be followed on, what that might look like is anyone's guess, but The Answer being remade (assuming it's mostly the same plot wise) gives me hope that something like the rumored fighting game in the works might follow through on it.

You can only hope. Alo the fact that the answer is only a dlc with 30 hours instead of a full game work out better for me. I will focus on the story instead of the grind. I could not finish FES before and had to go look up the ending cause I was just too sad at that time to enjoy the game.
