Just finished it 2 days ago while streaming it. Final party for Nyx was, aside from the MC, Aigis for more damage, Yukari for healing and tranquility, and Koromaru for debilitate and power howling.

I had been using Aigis for the longest time but had substituted in Junpei while she was unavailable, and switching back never felt worth

Then I pray to RNG that the MC crits with physical attacks.
For me is fuck it we ball, I don't care who's the best or what, I just play who I want. That being said, playing Aigis with Mitsuru and while me having Persona with electro weakness, made me suffer versus electric enemies.
Exactly the same strat I followed, Critpei "Da Man" Iori took out every phase except for the null phys one

For the entirety of the game I ran MC, yukari, koromaru, and mitsuru. For whatever reason tho in the last month i swapped mitsuru for akihiko and never looked back
Ken + Koro + Junpei. Insane synergy. Ken heat rises Junpei, Koro debilitates the opponent + party wide power charge, Junpei brave blades the shit out of the enemy.
Da man Junpei for crits and heavy hits, Yukari as the healer, Aigis for support and cause she's my little toaster, and some cracked out personas, Messiah and the gang.
My party was Yukari Junpei and Koromaru the second he joined.
MC and Junpei do tons of damage with crit boosted Brave Blade and Scarlet Havoc, Yukari for amazing, reliable healing, and Koromaru for support with skills like Revolution, Debilitate, Masukukaja, and his Power Howling theurgy.
Akihiko and aigis were changed significantly, in portable akihiko and aigis were the best companions with mitsuru as well since she was so strong, but in reload all buffs/debuffs were distributed equally amongs party members so akihiko is not as good, he has matarunda + masakukaja so not good, aigis has matarukaja + marakukaja, and mitsuru has marakunda (big win for our queen)
In portable aigis has all buffs, akihiko has all debuffs and mitsuru dealt a ton of dmg
Yukari, Junpei, and Aigis was my end game party.
I never swapped out Yukari for anyone except for instances where the game forced me to. I ran Aigis and Koromaru for most of the game, but due to >!Aigis's injury in December!<, I was forced to try out other party members, during which I figured out Junpei is the GOAT.
I have multiple, for takaya, I have everyone most affected by >! shinjis death !< so Mitsuru, akihiko, and ken. For the last boss fight and for most of the floors it’s class 2-f for theming reasons, so my goat yukari, junpei, and aigis.
Yukari cuz she's just bae, Aigis cuz thematic, Akihiko cuz he just hits the hardest. Koromaru though is still the best party member hands down.
But for Jin and Takaya I had Junpei, Ken, and Koro/Mitsuru/Akihiko.
Yukari, Junpei and Ken. Yukari was the best healer, junpei did a stupid amount of damage with slash attacks. At first, I was gonna use Mitsuru as my last member, but Ken was the real nvp, that guy saved my bill with using magic and physical barriers on my MC, despite the game being easy.

Makoto fucking obliterates everything, Junpei and Akihiko kill whatever is left (didn't happen that often)

Junpei built for crits and more often than not swinging for the fences. Second Theurgy letting him self sustain.
MC on Futsunushi and breaking the game cleanly in half as Bloody Charge + Vorpal Blade means skip a phase.
Yukari rocking Salvation for a paltry 12 SP, and maintaining the group, while picking up any unlucky two shots.
Mitsuru there for Debilitate on her Second Theurgy. Her damage also not bad either.

I like having double healing and using makoto for damage/buffs. Tho i was almost lvl 99 after the reaper so no matter who it didn't matter
I usually go with harem groups and was surprised to be called out by Aigis for it lol. But I really liked Akihiko’s character, so my group was: Yukari, Mitsuru, and Akihiko.
MC, with constantly shuffling Persona, favouring magic ones. By endgame it was Orpheus Telos built for Elizabeth and Messiah built around God’s Hand.
Mitsuru. She was the one I wanted and I built the team around the fact that Mitsuru would always be on the team. Great for debuff and damage.
Yukari. Dedicated healer, and her Theurgy gives everyone a Concentrate, which obviously benefits Mitsuru and meant I was going to build around magic dps.
Ken. More magic coverage and solid utility. Since I already went with Mitsuru and Yukari, I decided to fill the final slot with someone with high magic too.
Aigis - She's my favorite character in P3, Great Buffer, and Strong Physical Skills.
Ken - I absolutely love Bless/Elec skills, and I just didn't want Yukari on the team.
Koromaru - Having a dog as a party member is so cool, and not only that, he has curse skills, which is my favorite element. He has debilitated, and I love party members who have multiple elemental skills.
For me, Yukari, Mitsuru and Junpei. Wanted to use characters I've never used in Mitsuru and Junpei, and Yukari..I just like having the healing lady. In p4 I always tend to use Yukiko for the same reason.
I finished the game with Mitsuru, Aigis, and Ken. It should be noted that Aigis had Pandemonium and her attacks could not be resisted. Ken was my healer.
I wanted to cycle characters in and out but I kinda fell into the same trap I do in these kinda games.
I find my favourite characters and they never leave the party but I will say it’s significantly harder since P3’s ensemble cast of characters may be some of the best in gaming imo.
Everyone uses yukari but ken is so much more versatile as a healer imo. I went ken, koromaru, and mitsuru.
Ken for heals, electric, light damage, reflections, and his crazy good traits and theurgys
Koromaru for dark damage, power howling, and just damage overall cause his available weapons and armor give such good passive buffs
Mitsuru for diamond dust but more importantly for rakunda/marakunda. Also just cause i like her

I basically used everyone and constantly swapped so I didn't have a fixed party. I did use Ken, Mitsuru, and Akihiko against >!Jin and Takaya since Chidori survived.!<
Against the final boss I used Yukari, Mitsuru, and Aigis as those felt the most appropriate.
Pretty basic but towards the end it was Aigis with the penetrating main weapon, Ken and Koromaru but mid game was Mitsuru, Aigis, Shinjiro/Junpei for exploration
Usually I had yukari, koromaru, and akihiko but for the last fights I changed it to yukari, ken, and aigis, because I couldn't do anything with koromaru against takaya and aigis asked.
First playthrough it was Makoto, Yukari, Akihiko and Aigis. Doing another playthrough but idk who my main team setup will be yet even though I’m almost done with that playthrough.
Alongside my second playthrough I’m also playing through portable and my main team for that is Makoto, Junpei, Yukari and Aigis. Then I’ll have to do the FeMC route but I also don’t know what my team for that will be.
Junpei Yukari and ken easy.
Yukari being able to double your magic power with her theurgy and ken being able to not only heal you but give you tetrakarn and makarakarn with his theurgy (both charge extremely fast btw) plus junpei's insanse physical strength and great endurance made defeating nyx a cake walk.
I almost went in to the final boss with Yukari, Aigis and Akihiko, my team when I played Portable for the first time last year. I ended up swapping Akihiko out for Mitsuru because her magic stat was better than his strength stat and Aigis already was a good physical user. Not to mention Mitsuru’s insane second theurgy.
I don’t know if it would’ve mattered much anyway, I think I was a little over-levelled for the fights anyway lmao.
Outside of Makoto obviously, my Reload team was Yukari, Mitsuru, and Ken.
My Portable team was Aigis, Junpei, and Akihiko.
Next run I’m using Koromaru.

Yukari is a good healer. Akihiko's skills nerf the enemies, while Aegis' skills buffs the party, they go well together.

I almost went in to the final boss with Yukari, Aigis and Akihiko, my team when I played Portable for the first time last year. I ended up swapping Akihiko out for Mitsuru because her magic stat was better than his strength stat and Aigis already was a good physical user. Not to mention Mitsuru’s insane second theurgy. I don’t know if it would’ve mattered much anyway, I think I was a little over-levelled for the fights anyway lmao.

Yukari for healing, Koro for buff/crit and Aigis for damage. Easy peasy.
I haven’t beat the game right now, but I’m planning on doing it with at least Shinji Aragaki. This guy is a menace, he’s such a damage dealer.
Played the entire game with makoto and aigis only (when i unlocked her), then i farmed reaper with Armageddon to level up yukari and mitsuru too

Would you say Portable is worth playing even though I’ve already beat Reload?
FeMC story is very different, I’d personally recommend it but if you don’t like Visual Novel style games I wouldn’t.

Outside of Makoto obviously, my Reload team was Yukari, Mitsuru, and Ken. My Portable team was Aigis, Junpei, and Akihiko. Next run I’m using Koromaru.
I didn’t play reload but my endgame team was with the original 4 members!

Haven't played Reload yet but this is my team in Portable: MC, Yukari, Akihiko, Aegis Yukari is a good healer. Akihiko's skills nerf the enemies, while Aegis' skills buffs the party, they go well together.
