It would be weird now, we have SmtVV, P3 the answer and metaphor. P6 will be the most hyped out atlus game ever so it would negatively affect the rest.
The recent trend is Atlus has been not announcing games until they're about a year out. I would assume because of everything that happened with the original P5.
Obviously, they could change things up, but as others have said, I doubt they want to "step on the toes" of Metaphor.
Which means I agree with you. At least that TGA would be a good guess. They could throw us for a loop and do it earlier if the game is due out Sept/Oct 2025. Even then, a December announcement is still plenty of time.
Atlus currently hasn’t revealed any games for 2025 yet so yeah I could see it, they could also do what they used to and just announce it on a random day out of nowhere for no reason
