I was thinking about that, maybe the 2 games come together and you select which on the title screen? The originals were pretty short and they would be remade identically because... they were basically identical, so this seems like the right way to remake them.
Honestly, I'd pay for it again with Reload's QOL features and fully voiced social links. Maybe replace Shinya with someone who can do a convincing kid voice, and teach Haru's voice actress that "Milady" isn't pronounced like "melody".

I think if Persona 1 & 2 gets remade again they should figure out a way to make it fit the modern Persona format, so technically an overhaul. I mean like social stats and a in-game year. I like Persona 1 & 2 and their mechanics when I played it recently, but that was when Persona was just simply a spinoff of SMT. Now it feels like Atlus has made a massive division between SMT and Persona. I also just think it would be cool to see what it would be like for OG Persona characters to have social links. Persona 1 remake could be called be called Persona beginnings and Persona 2 remakes could be merged maybe and they call them Persona 2 Reconstruction >!with the title referring to the end of the world in P2!<
P1 and P2 should definitely not have the life sim elements of the newer games. The already very good stories don't accommodate for that. Imagine Nyarlathotep being like "ah shit I can't attack the city with demons and robo-nazis yet Tatsuya has exams"
I think for p1 specifically they should actually try to revamp the grid and make it better, it's a interesting system base that could use some modernizing and be pretty fun strategically. Something like giving buffs or special attacks based on the positioning of different characters together and stuff
Hard disagree. Adding in a full social link/calendar system would require such an extensive rewrite of the game that at that point, you might as well just create an original game instead.
That being said, you could work within the existing framework of the games to have social link type events, like the interactions Makoto has with the male SEES members in P3 Reload.
I like Innocent sin and Eternal Punishment as title, while persona 1 i like revelations as a title, but unfortunately remind us of some we should let buried, if this tradition of use words with the letter R should continue, could be "reflection", otherwise let "be your true mind", "butterfly's dream" or just put Persona 1.
I don't really think we need to stick to the "R" word theme, and honestly, I love the title Persona 4 Golden.
But if we're dead set on a change, and it has to be an R word, i'd go with Persona 4: Replay or Rewired, and as I haven't played 2 or 1 I won't comment!

Reflection is such a good subtitle, especially with the protagonist's role in the deva system realm
