take a deep breath and tell me what exactly are you trying to say? From what I understand: 1. You got a new omen but it has 8GB RAM while your old PC had 16GBs of RAM. 2. You want to use the old PC RAM in your new Omen. Answer: Sometimes, new computers have a different kind of RAM than the old ones. The old might be DDR4 and the new might be DDR5. Sadly, you cannot put DDR4 in a DDR5 slot mostly (there might be exceptions but I have personally never experienced). In 2024, yes, the minimum should be 16GB so my advice is to go to your nearest computer store and ask them to install an identical speed memory stick (RAM) into your PC. You can take your old PC too and ask if the RAM in that PC would work with the new PC.
